SSIT Tumkur Admissions

Admissions to all courses are based on the scores achieved in the entrance examinations. Eligible candidates can sit for the examinations and its subsequent counselling. 

  • Admissions to the UG courses are on the basis of UGET or KCET. 
  • Admissions to the PG courses are on the basis of PGCET. 
  • Admissions to the Ph.D courses are on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the institute.

  1. Visit the official website of Karnataka PGCET and complete the registration process.

  4. Accept the declaration and submit the form. 
  5. Pay the application fee of INR 650.

  • Hostel: The institute provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The rooms are furnished with a single, double, and triple bed along with table, chairs, and a wardrobe. These hostels accommodate more than 750 students comfortably.
  • Library: The library of the institute is very big. It has a seating capacity of about 580. The institute also has a Digital library. At present, the library has 67000 volumes and has subscribed to 156 National and International Journals.
  • Canteen: The institute has a canteen inside the campus with a high tech kitchen. It can accommodate 150 students at a time. There is also a cafeteria available providing snacks and refreshments. 
  • Bank: A Syndicate bank having a floor area of 250 sq. metres is situated at the entrance of the college campus. Additionally, there is also an ATM & locker facility.

Ques. What is “STEP” at Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology?

Ans. STEP stands for Science and Technological Entrepreneurship Park. The main objective of the center is to promote Entrepreneurship among graduates. The achievements include a biomass stove that could cook 1 kg of rice in 20 minutes by using only 100 grams of wooden morsels, the milking machine that can milk 20 liters of milk in 5 minutes without any discomfort either to the animal or the man, etc.
