I choose this course because I loved computers since my 2nd PUC and It would mean that I would be paid more in CSE so I chose CSE So there is A single teacher for about 60 students in this institute. And honestly, I think this is really bad, cause the teacher cannot focus on every student's needs and support them. The faculties in my department are Qualified with every one of them having their Proper Degrees, But the one thing they Lack is an understanding of the student's minds, and explaining them in that manner, But again there are some amazing teachers here as well, who exactly know what they are doing and Support the student just where he needs The term exams were not difficult at all, Students who had studied for 2 days prior had scored 8 cgpa, and it was so because the college kept on increasing the date of exams, for example, our exams were delayed for about 1.5 months
The admission process was mostly smooth because I have applied for this course through a government exam called KCET (Karnataka -Common Entrance Test], The application form for this exam was circulated through my group of friends and It had cost me Around 2000 rupees. It was around 3 months before the actual exam, So It was around April 2021, and we could fill in anywhere around 2 months, The cutoff for this college was around 19000 in 1st round to 24000 in 3rd round, so I applied here, It is a decent cutoff for Computer science branch, Not one of the top colleges but a decent 3rd tier college, The fees as mentioned in my Kcet admission order were 83000 and additional 10000 rps to be paid for college, as an option, but when I reached here they told me it was compulsory. I did not get any benefits of the Reservation Improvement I would say that Don't chare additonal if not compulsory
Placement opportunities are very good and most of them have got placed in reputed companies from our college and the highest package they provided was Rs 300000per annum and gives an opportunity for each and every student
I wrote the CET exam which was the entrance exam all over Karnataka for engineering seats and I applied for that exam I wrote it well and got a good score based on my score in CET I opt for colleges and got an engineering seat in the Oxford
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. 70-80 companies visit the college and 80% of deserving students who worked hard by themselves get placed. The college doesn't have much hands in training the students well for placements. The highest package is 9LPA. The average package is 3-4 LPA. 70% of students get placed. After finishing my degree I have plans to do the job and earn and gather more practical knowledge.
I got a rank of 57k in KCET and got into this college in the second round of selection. The college was accepting applicants with a rank between 40k to 60k. You have to enquire about admission by calling the office people or going directly to college. The online service is not very good here. There are reservation benefits for SC, ST, and other cast people but not for general. I wish there was a more easy online application for admission than traveling far to get admission to this college. As I said I travel for an hour to reach this college.
The teachers are the best part of the college They help us all the time They have lots of Knowledge to help the student and bring out the best in them They are supportive and Clear doubts anytime even Through WhatsApp if needed.
For getting admission In the college you have three options 1.KCET 2.Comedk 3. Management. For management 250000 per year, for comedk 22000 per year, for kcet 50000 per year. KCET entrance exam is available for Karnataka students whereas Comedk is available all over India.
Placements are in the peak stage of the college 85% of the students are placed in the college with a minimum package of 400000 Highest package of 2200000 and average package of 500000 companies like just pay IBM etc.
We can get admission from KCET or comedk or through Management I was here with Management with the help of my Uncle You can get admission easily with the admission department and they are very kind and loyal.
Too many companies do come up to the college mostly IT core is rare. Most of the top companies are to go. Almost all the IT field depts. get placed easily till now. Core companies are yet to come. Overall it's going great.
The admission process was management eligibility is through cet as well as management. There are reservations available for all criteria. Faster admission through kea counseling and option entry. Overall it's good.
