What students say about Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering - [YCCE]

Likes

  • I chose this course because I have an interest in the computer field, and in order to acquire good knowledge, I thought pursuing a Bachelor of Technology would be the best option.
  • After successfully completing the seventh semester, the students are offered an internship, and the teachers help them with the project and presentation.
  • The placement in YCCE is good. Many companies come to the college for placement in computer technology branch. It offers very excellent placement as compared to other branches. In Nagpur city, YCCE is named as the topmost placement college.
  • Merit students receive a scholarship named the Bright Way Scholarship based on their marks.
  • In YCCE, there are always a lot of events. The annual event called YASH is great.
  • Though I am a day scholar, according to the opinion of my friends residing in the college hostel, the facilities are good.
  • For M.Tech students, placement is the main issue. It has a great culture and the best faculty. I will suggest this college to my juniors.

Dislike

  • The faculty generally guides us for various internships and other courses that would enhance our ability to face difficult situations.
  • I feel sorry for the students who took out a loan to study at this college and received a minimum salary package.
  • The rooms are below average, and the surroundings of the hostel are also bad due to a very bad smell.
  • All the things I have mentioned before are positives of the college, and one negative thing about it is that they do not provide exposure to students. They are not allowed to take part in events as well as social activities.
