Agharkar Research Institute, Pune offers a full-time Ph.D program for a duration of 3-6 years. ARI offers a Ph.D. degree in six different areas of life sciences namely: 

• Biodiversity & Paleobiology
• Nano Bioscience
• Bioenergy
• Genetics & Plant Breeding
• Developmental Biology
• Bioprospecting.

ARI Ph.D Eligibility

• For Ph.D programs, Candidates must possess M.Sc. or any equivalent qualification with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
• Candidates must possess CSIR/UGC-Junior Research Fellowship or NET-LS/GATE as well as a fellowship from agencies like DBT, ICAR, etc.
