Guru Nanak College (GNC) Admission 2024: Application Form (Out), Courses, Eligibility, Last Date To Apply

Guru Nanak College offers admission to three-year Bachelor’s program based on the merit obtained in the qualifying examination followed by personal interview.

Candidate applying for the admission in these programs must have passed HSC (10+2) examination with relevant subjects from a recognized board.

Key Points:

• An applicant must have an eligibility certificate from the University of Madras at the time of admission and Interview.
• Courses offered in shift II are self-financed.
• Shift 1 is scheduled from 8.30 AM to 1.50 AM and Shift 2 is scheduled from 1.45 PM to 6.45 PM.

Admission to two-year postgraduate program offered by GNC is based upon the merit obtained in qualifying examination followed by personal interview. MBA selection will be through TANCET or CAT/XAT or any other MBA entrance test. For MCA, candidates have to appear for TANCET or any entrance test conducted by consortium of professional colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Those who have passed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with 50% marks or above may apply for the admission in the program.

• Admission to MCA and MBA program is based upon TANCET entrance exam conducted by Tamil Nadu Government.
• Students applying for M.Com. Degree should have passed B.Com., B.A. (Cooperation), BA (Business Economics), B.A (Industrial Organization) or B.Sc. (Maths) with Accountancy and Costing or Banking with 50% marks or above.
• Candidates looking for admission in M.A. (Eco) should pass B.A. (Eco), B.Sc. (Maths/Statistics), or B. Com Degree.

The College is an approved Research Centre by University of Madras and offers M.Phil. and Ph. D. programs. Candidates should have a master’s degree in relevant field with 55% aggregate to be eligible to apply.
