Remarks :

IBS is a very good brand name in the market and as my job was in Hyderabad from the last two years I felt Hyderabad was a good place to do an MBA. Moreover getting college like IBS was the cherry on to of the cake. The placement record that I heard was not matching but I got placed at last.

Placement Experience :

It was all dependent on the factor like you should have a good CGPAYou should not have any backlogThere are almost 200 companies that visit our campus but still 35% students are left unplaced but i feel theres no fault of collge because they call maximum company they can still if you are nt grabbing opportunities its your fault

Remarks :

The need for having an edge on the professional font was the mere thought behind opting for this MBA course. Also the factors responsible while shortlisting the college/university mainly are Courses available, credit rating by alumni, accreditation achieved, future opportunities, Packages offered at the placement. The companies coming for placement etc.

Placement Experience :

Almost all the big 4 does visit the campus. The profiles offered by them are varied and depends on the industry requirement.Profiles like Business analyst,Tax advisor, management trainee, brand manager and so on.

Ques. Which is better: IBS, Hyderabad or PGDM from NMIMS, Bangalore?

● Top Answer By Kiran Chugh on 16 Jul 21

Ans. Having to share some ideas with some of the students of both institutes, I have come to know that they both are equally commendable. Some of them have completed their MBA/PGDM from the respective institutes and all of them are in great positions today. IBS Hyderabad or NMIMS Bangalore - both of them cannot be compared as they are quite prestigious. One factor that can differentiate both is that IBS Hyderabad is older than NMIMS Bangalore. Being an older institute, it naturally becomes more popular among the masses if you juxtapose it in front of other Indian ICFAI branches. In terms of industry, NMIMS Mumbai is quite renowned over IBS Hyderabad. On top of that, NMIMS Bangalore has also gained a lot of popularity and is relatively new. Despite being significantly new, it still matches the standard of IBS Hyderabad. Categories IBS Hyderabad NMIMS Bangalore Course Fee 14.14 lakh 16.5 lakh Highest CTC 20 LPA 18-20 LPA Average CTC 11 LPA 10 LPA Recruiting Companies Genpact, KPMG, Cognizant, Kotak Mahindra, etc. Honeywell, Bosch, Dell, HSBC, etc. It is safe to say that you can go to any one of the institutes you have mentioned above as they are equally good.Read more

Ques. How is ICFAI College for distance learning MBA? Is this DEB-UGC recognized?

● Top Answer By Komal Chawla on 29 Jun 21

Ans. ICFAI is one of the best institutes for a distance MBA which imparts knowledge and management learnings to the students. The following are the highlights of the distance MBA program. The program has a duration of two years, but it has validity for four years. The total fee of the program is INR 2 Lakhs. The online teaching methodologies are micro-learning, P2P exercise, a concept in context, and gamification. They have a properly well-maintained infrastructure including academic blocks, laboratories, workshops, faculty rooms, and computer labs along with the latest computing faculty, auditorium, seminar halls, canteen, library, and much more. The whole campus is wifi enabled.Read more

Ques. Which business school is better, PSG Institute of Management or IBS Hyderabad?

● Top Answer By Admin on 23 Jun 21

Ans. Some people would say that competition is harmful to students as it pressurizes them but, to be honest, we cannot deny the fact that competition always increases the quality whether it is between students or big companies. Having friends in both the institutes, I can say that ICFAI Business school (IBS Hyderabad) is much better than PSG Institute of Management. It is ranked higher, placement opportunities are better there and the crowd you’d meet is really competitive. In PSG Institute of management, you will be dealing with a majority of the Tamil-speaking crowd. Whereas, IBS Hyderabad has a diverse crowd and you get familiar with a different mindset and explore new things there. You will learn a lot in IBS Hyderabad. In NIRF Ranking, ICFAI Business school (IBS Hyderabad) has been ranked #25 in India among top management institutes in 2021.Read more

Ques. How is ICFAI Hyderabad IBS?

● Top Answer By Tezal Dahiya on 23 Jun 21

Ans. One of my cousins is a student of the institute and has no complaints regarding it. The campus is well-structured and has a stress-free ambience as well. The professors are both well-experienced and helpful. The library and labs in the institute are well maintained and have separated study rooms. Here is a list of things you must know, Placement Stats: The placement report suggests that it is quite good. Several top-tier companies occasionally pay a visit to the institute. Here is a brief scenario of the same, Number of Students Placed 821 Average CTC INR 7.92 LPA Highest CTC INR 13 LPA Recruiting Companies Aditya Birla Group, ICICI bank, HDFC Bank, JP Morgan, TCS Infrastructure: The hostels in IBS are well-maintained. You will be provided with a shared four-bedroom apartment, which comprises a kitchen, balcony, and a living room with a common washroom. It also has attached washrooms in separate bedrooms and a utility space as well. Security: Speaking of the security of the institute, IBS has many security guards that tend to work hard for the safety of all on the campus. Canteen and Others Facilities (Messes, Hospitals, etc): The one main upside to IBS is that there is a night canteen facility that generally delivers food to several hostel rooms when asked for. There are also similar options regarding the housekeeping, and laundry in the institute as well. There are two separate messes where there are provisions of South Indian Food and North Indian Food respectively. The student is asked which one to avail during admission itself. There is a hospital within IBS where doctors are available all day. It has an ambulance facility as well. Sports: You can avail sports facilities like a basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, swimming pool, tennis court, football court and several others. You can run a check on the same. These are the facilities you will get at the institute. To know more about the institute you can visit the official website.Read more

Ques. If we compare SIOM, Nashik and IBS Hyderabad, which one is better for pursuing an MBA?

● Top Answer By Neha Rani on 23 Jun 21

Ans. If you have an engineering background and want to pursue your career in Operations and Supply Chain Management, then you should opt for SIOM Nashik. For Operations and Supply Chain Management, IBS Hyderabad is not up to the mark. Besides, the institute also does not have Operations as a major specialization in the final year of the course. You will need to opt for Operations as a minor specialization in the final year. Here is a brief outline of the institutes. Institutes SIOM, Nashik IBS, Hyderabad Average CTC INR 11.5 LPA INR 7.92 LPA Highest CTC INR 17.1 LPA INR 13 LPA Course fees 12.2 lakhs 14.10 lakhs Top Recruiting Companies Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited, Ask4 Trucks Aditya Birla Group, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, JP Morgan Most essentially, IBS Hyderabad is considered adequate for candidates who rather want to pursue their career in BFSI, considering both Finance and Marketing specializations.Read more
