Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) Admission

Step 1: Visit the college website and download the application form.

Step 2: Fill the application form and send it along with the admission fee (INR 1000 for General and INR 500 for SC/ST) or obtain admission bulletin or admission form personally or by post by sending a DD of INR 1000 (INR 500 for SC/ST) in favour of Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal.

Step 3: Applicants are required to submit or post the application form within the stipulated time.

Note: Applicants applying for PGDFM, must have secured a valid score in any of the following exams:

Merit Scholarship Scheme

This scholarship is awarded to 20 students of the batch of INR 5000 per month from the end of the first term. The institute prepares a merit list of eligible students based on the recommendation of the PFM Committee. The reservation norms for the scholarship are as follows:

Scholarship to SC students
This Scholarship is available to SC category students at IIFM subject to fulfillment of the conditions laid down by the Ministry. The scholarship covers expenditure of full-fee and lodging boarding charges, books and stationary charges at a fixed rate.

This Scholarship is available to ST category students at IIFM subject to fulfillment of the conditions laid down by the Ministry. The scholarship covers expenditure of full-fee and lodging boarding charges, books and stationary charges at a fixed rate.


Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) Facilities

Library: The institute has a multistoried air-conditioned library with a rich collection of 312 films on forestry, environment, conservation & management. The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) facility is available on all terminals connected through LAN. The library has more than 37,500 books and subscriptions to more than 280 National and International periodicals.

Computer Center: IIFM is equipped with excellent computing resources. The Computer Centre has hardware and software resources that are capable of providing support for diverse computing requirements. It has a number of desktops in Local Area Network (LAN) and has state-of-the-art Geographic Information System (GIS) and Image Processing facilities.

Hostel and Mess Facility: The college hostel consists of 3 hostels. All rooms are fully furnished with separate blocks for girls. All the hostels are provided with solar/geyser facility along with common rooms with TV and DTH connection, gym and indoor games. Mess of the college is equipped with automated and semi-automated equipment and cooking systems. More than 300 students can have food at a time.

Sports: The campus has a wide range of sporting facilities for indoor and outdoor sports like Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Carrom, Football, Cricket and Volleyball. Intra-Institute sports tournaments are organized regularly. The institute participates every year in the All India Forest Sports and Games Meet organized by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India.
