Placement Experience:

Placements are good and in very diverse industries. Students become eligible after the first year. We have a 100 % of the student Placement rate. My plan after getting the degree is to Work in various domains of Human resources.

Remarks:

The admission process consisted of an Eligibility of minimum percentage in CAT Which then lead to profile-based selection which eventually lead to an Interview and then an extempore on a general topic and then the foralities. No reservation benefits were availed.

Placement Experience:

The college has placed every student. A large number of businesses, including Dell, Arcesium, Axis Bank, Deloitte, and Reckitt visit the campus during the fifth term as part of the placement process. The maximum package ranges from 16 to 18 lakhs, with an average of 11 lakhs.

Remarks:

You must get at least 85 percentile on the CAT or XAT. I would suggest choosing IMI if you are interested in HR. We have a strong HR department with excellent, knowledgeable staff. The college gives us fantastic internships and job placements that provide us with excellent corporate exposure.

Placement Experience:

The College provides the Placements and as we are one of the premier B schools in the country we are having some of the best placements which come. We are also having a separate dedicated committee of students that works along with the college management for providing the placements.

Remarks:

I had written the CAT examination which was considered a common entrance examination for multiple MBA courses and applied for IMI Delhi. We had a preliminary screening based on profiles where they considered the academic scores and the work experience. and there were some of the factors considered based on diversity for bringing the best mix of students. Further, we had a personal interview along with the Extempore which was part of the interview session only.

Placement Experience:

The placements are provided on campus and the college has a track record of 100% placements for multiple years. The Placement activities are taken care of by the Corporate Relations and Placement Committee. we are having an average of 17 lakhs of average placements for the final placements of a batch of 2021-23 who have been placed in one of the best companies from the Big 4 to top consulting companies.

Remarks:

I have applied to the college based on my entrance examination score CAT which is one of the standard examinations for MBA courses. I have been able to find the details related to eligibility and the others through their official website and through various events such as Nexus where they host meetings for the students to know join them and have a discussion on the prospects of admission and the process. The college takes CAT and XAT scores for admission. there will be preliminary shortlisting based on the scores in the tests and the profile of the students based on scores in the schooling till Under-graduation. further based on diversity based on your course in. Also, the Applicants are given points if they are having any experience in a job as it adds to their profile as an MBA students.

Ques. What is your review of the college IMI Delhi?

● Top Answer By Anuj Mishra on 03 Mar 23

The academics of almost all B Schools across India are more or less the same. IMI Delhi claims to be the third in intellectual capital which is the quality of faculty. This ranking is however justifiable as IMI Delhi does have the best pool of faculty. The next thing to consider while analyzing the worth of a B School is the kind of culture it offers to its students. The culture is still not at par with top institutes like IMT, MDI, SP Jain, IIM, etc., and is growing steadily. Still, over the last few years, IMI has witnessed a drastic change in culture mainly stemming from the various administrative changes made. These efficient and transparent changes have increased the culture quality at IMI Delhi. The placement scenario has been improving at a steady pace like any other B School. Most 2 and 3-tier institutes will provide a similar experience and can be considered for an MBA. However, do not target a B-school lesser in worth than this because MBA mainly depends on the worth of the institution. IMI Delhi is among the top B Schools in tier 2 and the only B Schools better than this are old IIMs, FMS, MDI, IIFT, SP Jain, Jamnalal Bajaj, XLRI, and NM Mumbai....Read more

Ques. Why is IMI Delhi not good for somebody with an experience of 2.5 years? I have got a PGDM offer from IMI Delhi and I was looking for honest opinions about the college.

● Top Answer By Ranshi Banka on 03 Mar 23

I cannot agree with the claim that IMI Delhi is not good for someone who has an experience of more than two years. My friend told me that her batch in 2020 had an average work experience of 32 months.  Joining an elite B School is not enough. Once you have successfully joined the desired B School, you need to make constant efforts to remain at the top. Just getting admission is not enough. You need to work relentlessly and meet the standards of the institute. Even if someone has an experience of more than 2 years, he cannot cut down his efforts to remain at the top. He needs to maintain his sincerity toward academics because there is tough competition. Giving your best is the key once you have been admitted to a good B School. Keep aside secondary factors like work experience and pay academics....Read more

If you're looking for a B-school that offers a wide range of opportunities to help you pursue your interests and career goals, IMI New Delhi is definitely worth considering. Let's take a closer look at the different programs they offer and the opportunities they provide.  If you're interested in a managerial career but haven't decided on a specialization, the PGDM program at IMI New Delhi is a great option. By completing a full year of the course and studying all the subjects of management, you'll gain clarity about which domain you're most interested in. For example, when I first came to IMI, I was interested in Finance, but after just three months, I developed a keen interest in marketing. If marketing is your specialization of choice, IMI Delhi offers an exciting course that includes projects, guest lectures by industry experts, highly experienced faculty, and workshops to enhance your marketing skills and creativity. You can also be a part of various clubs and committees that focus on designing, content writing, and sponsorship. Many premium recruiters in the FMCG sector, such as Asian Paints, Nestle, RPG group, Reckitt Benckiser, Emami, HUL, Havmor, Piramal Group, Mother Dairy, and others, visit the campus every year. The finance program at IMI Delhi covers a wide range of subjects and offers lectures from renowned faculty members and numerous workshops to improve your knowledge. Companies like HSBC, Arcesium, and HUL visit the campus to hire students. If you're interested in operations, IMI Delhi is known for having one of the best faculties in this field. The program covers subjects such as Financial Econometrics, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management. Many students opt for dual majors in finance and operations, and companies from various domains offer roles in operations. If HR is your specialization of choice, IMI Delhi offers a specialized HRM program that includes subjects not only from the HR domain but also analytics and strategy. The program is tailored to meet industry requirements and allows students to opt for extra subjects beyond normal credit limits....Read more
