Ques. Will it be a good decision to choose NMIMS, NITIE, JBIMS or IIT Mumbai for an MBA?

● Top Answer By Komal Chawla on 11 Aug 21

Ans. NMIMS, NITIE Mumbai, JBIMS, and IIT Mumbai are all good institutes. These are academically excellent institutes with consistent high placements records. Their status and outreach worldwide are also excellent and therefore it is every student’s dream to join such an institute. The ideal choice for the students can be listed as follows: - JBIMS: It is a very good institute, especially for finance and banking. It has the best Return of Investment (ROI). NITIE Mumbai NITIE Mumbai is very good for the Operations sector in MBA.  NITIE has become one of the most recognized brand names in this industry, especially when it comes to the fields of Supply and Operations.  Apart from this, you can also apply in different sectors such as Banking and Finance, IT and Strategy Consulting, Retail roles, Sales and Marketing, etc. IIT Bombay: IIT Bombay is again well known for the Operations sector. It is also known for providing excellent education at comparatively less fees. NMIMS NMIMS is one of the best institutes in India for pursuing MBA. The batch size is, however, big when compared to the other institutes.  Also, the ROI is less because the fee is very high. Since all the colleges mentioned above are really good, it comes down to your decision. Choose according to your preferences after comparing all of them in all aspects.Read more

Ques. Which MBA degrees do JBIMS and SIMSREE offer?

● Top Answer By Kiran Chugh on 05 Jul 21

Ans. JBIMS and SIMSREE are two excellent institutes, which are coming under Mumbai University. Both of the institutes offer management courses with great placement and infrastructure. The points below give the key points of difference between the two institutes, stating the type of MBA degrees they offer. JBIMS provides only MS degree to students, whereas SIMSREE provide both MS and PGD-BM degrees. Although these degrees have certain differences in curriculum, all of them are equivalent to an MBA. Both institutes fall under Mumbai University and so, they follow the same course structure. JBIMS accepts admission through CAT and MH-CET. But, SIMSREE offers a wider range of opportunities by allowing admission through CAT, CMAT, ATMA, and MH-CET. None of the two colleges conduct any GR or PI rounds in their admission process. These are the main highlights regarding the courses offered by JBIMS and SIMSREE, along with their modes of admission.Read more

Ques. Is JBIMS the best college compared to SP Jain and NMIMS Mumbai?

● Top Answer By Sandip Pal on 19 Jun 21

Ans. Some of my friends studied in these institutes. According to them all provide excellent management programs and opportunities to their students in MBA. But, if we consider the return on investment of the three institutes, JBIMS is definitely the best among all. The points below provide a brief overview of the institute. The fee structure of JBIMS is very less, as compared to NMIMS and SP Jain. Also, the average package offered in JBIMS is ?18.9 LPA, which is very good. It is called the CEO factory. So, due to the low fees and very good average package, the ROI of JBIMS is definitely the best among all. In all sections like placement, campus environment, etc, SP Jain tops the list for its brand value and is surely above NMIMS and JBIMS. So, it is evident that all the institutes mentioned in the question are excellent, and if you get a chance to study there, you should definitely consider it. Categories JBIMS SP Jain NMIMS Mumbai Course Fee 1.52 - 7 lakh 17.5 lakh 12.05 lakh Highest CTC 32 LPA 40 LPA 15 LPA Average CTC 20 LPA 22 LPA 8-10 LPA Recruiting Companies McKinsey, HSBC, Loreal, Berger, etc. Bosch, ITC, Aditya Birla, Crisil, etc, EY, Barclays, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, etc. Therefore, considering the factor of ROI, JBIMS is the clear winner. But, it cannot be categorized as the best college as SPJIMR defeats the other two in almost all other factors.Read more

      Admission :

The admission to the MMS course is based on the Maharashtra CET score. College is allotted based on the preferences input for the CAP rounds. The legacy of the college is such that the college features in the top of every CET taker's preference list. The placements, fees, faculty were the key factors responsible for me opting to choise the institute.

      Remarks :

All activities are student driven and various committees ensure smooth functioning of the college.
