LBSIM Selection Criteria

  • Candidates are shortlisted based on their CAT/ XAT and GMAT scores, prior academic performance, work experience, and other information provided in the Application form.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to the Group Discussion, Extempore, Written Analysis Test, and Personal Interview.
  • The weightage for final selection will be 60% for CAT/XAT/GMAT scores and 40% for Group Discussion, Extempore and Personal Interview, previous academic performance, written ability test, and work experience.
  • The selected candidates' results will be posted on the Institute's Notice Board and uploaded to the Institute's website.

LBSIM Eligibility Criteria

  • All candidates applying to LBSIM must take the Common Admission Test (CAT) at http://www.iimcat.ac.in or have a current Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score.
  • Candidates must register at LBSIM, Delhi through a separate Application Form, which will be available along with the Information Brochure from the Admission Coordinator, LBSIM, Delhi.
  • Candidates who have been shortlisted based on their CAT/XAT and current GMAT scores will be called for a (Written Ability Test), WAT/Extempore, Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) for final selection.

How to Apply for LBSIM Delhi Admission 2022?

In addition to registering for the CAT/XAT/GMAT, you must also register with LBSIM. You can apply for LBSIM Delhi admission 2022 both offline and online, as shown below:

Online Process

Candidates can apply online. Candidates must pay Rs. 1,250/- for online application submission via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.

Offline Process

The Application Form is available from the Admission Coordinator, Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi, on all working days between 9.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. at the LBSIM Dwarka Campus, upon payment of Rs.1,250/- in cash or by Demand Draft. Please add Rs.75/- for receiving the Information Brochure by post within India and Rs.200/- for receiving it outside of India.

  • The demand draft should be made payable to 'Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management in New Delhi.
  • Completed application forms, along with the required fee, must be received by LBSIM Delhi on or before the deadline.

Ques. Does LBSIM accept CMAT scores?

Ans. CMAT score was used by Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management [LBSIM], New Delhi. However, LBSIM no longer accepts CMAT scores. In addition to the CAT 2021 and GMAT test scores, LBSIM Delhi will accept the XAT 2022 score for admission in 2022 to all of its 2-year full-time PGDM programs.

Ques. Is Lal Bahadur Shastri institute of management under Delhi University?

Ans. Lal Bahadur Shastri is not affiliated with the Delhi University, to be clear. It was founded in 1995 as a private institution with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University as its parent institution, and it has received approval from the AICTE in New Delhi. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), which was created in 2018, gave it the 47th place ranking. Six postgraduate programs are available from the institution.

Ques. Does LBSIM have a sectional cut-off?

Ans. In LBSIM, there is only an overall cutoff; there is no sectional cut-off. As a result, the candidate should focus on the overall cutoff rather than the sectional one as LBSIM does not have a sectional cutoff.

Ques. Does LBSIM have a part-time course?

Ans. LBSIM provides a 27-month part-time PGDM program; courses are held on Saturday and Sunday. Currently, the campus exclusively offers weekend courses.
