First of all the hostel fees is just bare minimum less than the PGs available out there and also there is not separate rooms and you have to share room with one of the college/class mate.so basically double sharing rooms are available there and you can also ask to attach water cooler during summer. In hostel you will get wifi facility and 3 time meal which is not that great. and once the semester end you will be given a reasonable to pay hostel fees to avoid throwing out. I have personally taken PG at GTB nagar which is one metro station away from vishwavidyalay even you can find pg at kamla nagar but they are quite expensive however GTB Nagar ,Mukherjee Nagar these are the localities where you can easily get rooms at reasonable prices
When we talk about the fest at Hansraj it is not only at Hansraj the entire north campus of Delhi university participates in each other's colleges fest and the fest's events just keep on organising as there are a lot of societies only during the semester exam this event stops. The library is awesome the availability of books is never a problem there even if you required a certain book you can ask your teacher to sign a note and give it to the library soon as the book gets available there. The classroom is fully equipped with air conditioners and projectors to enhance the learning environment. There is also a lot of variety that can be seen in the sports activities sports of nearly all types are found here and students can participate in games of their choice even though the sports society keeps on organising events to promote various sports and also develops team spirit among students. There are a lot of societies in just a single college, they help students to take up roles and work towards it
There are actually no fests being conducted in recent years which was, from what I heard, due to crowd control mismanagement. Otherwise, the library, computer labs, and classrooms are well equipped with proper air conditioning and ventilation. There is no particular time for sports activities, however, there are basketball and volleyball nets available on the ground where students play during their free time.
College life is great. Fest happens very rarely and was affected due to the Covid pandemic. Our library is well equipped and furnished. Classrooms are classic in design and advanced in amenities. Sports equipment is not adequate for college students. Various societies are run by college students such as Gender Equality Cell and NSS.
The campus (North Campus) of the university is full of life and excitement. It's a lively place with lots of societies going about their programmes and providing opportunities for students to display their talent. The fests are well organised with everyone enjoying and making merry. Philosophy honours too has its own society, named Mimamsa, run by teachers and students together. It organises various events, especially lectures from renowned scholars and educators. The sports facility at the college is adequate with lots of opportunities.
Life at the campus is the best and so cool. We do a lot of fun with friends and our very happy together. We roam around famous places in Delhi and visit max to max places we can. Utsav, the annual fest of NSS Hans Raj College took place which was one of the biggest fests of the Hansraj college. Diwali mela was also one of the major events of Hansraj College. Information about all the fests is made available on the website of Hansraj you can check it out. All types of books and journals are available in the college library itself and of all course all editions new and old. All types of sports are available on sports grounds like football, cricket, badminton, archery etc.
Many types of fests are organized by the college and botany department also itself like Diwali mela, food fest, rang mahotsav, night munch etc. All types of books and journals are available in the college library itself and of all course all editions new and old. All types of sports are available on sports grounds like football, cricket, badminton, archery, swimming, etc. Many social groups are run by students like NSS NCC WDC, sports society, art society, botanique society etc. All information about this is available on the college website you can check it out at https://www.hansrajcollege.ac.in

My admission was based on the percentage achieved in the 12th board. Application forms and fee details are available on the DU website. Cut-off depends and varies as per course and category. I am from OBC non-creamy layer therefore I received the Constitutional benefit of the quota. I wish our admission could have been on an entrance basis but it was based on percentage but now CUET provides a fair and level playing field to every candidate.
AYBy - Aryan YadavIt was a one-time thing but at the time of my admission, our college had admissions and it was fine when it was online but during offline classes, it was a pain due to the insufficiency of seats in classrooms. It was corrected by the next batch of students but I hope nothing similar happens in the future.
MBy - MeghaDuring My time the admission process was through CUET[Common University Entrance Test] And it is followed up by various universities asking to register on their portals. In my case, as I wanted to take admitted to DU I have to register myself on CSAS Portal The eligibility to take admission under various programmes and the subject combinations are provided in the brochure of CUET and also in the University brochure In my case for bcom hons [Mathematics/Accounts+English[Compulsory In Du]+2 subject from list B1 or either 1 subject from list B2. You can find all the updates regarding examination, application and other important dates through the official website of CUET {cuet.Samarth.ac.in}
