Hindustan College of Arts and Science (HICAS), Coimbatore, offers 26 UG courses, 11 PG courses, 10 Ph.D and other Diploma courses in the fields of Arts, Technology, Science, Commerce, and Management. The fees for the flagship course B.Com is INR 2.10 Lacs whereas the fees for all other courses range between INR 2-3 Lacs. Is hindusthan Worth the Investment? My Honest Review

Admission:

I didn't take any entrance exams. I applied for counseling and I get college with my cutoff mark. No difficulty in the admission process, they provide staff to fill out the admission form and we need to tell only our detail l which solve it. If we had any certificate like the first graduate they suddenly verify and reduce fees and tell the actual fees on the spot. Nothing to change in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I love programming. The department staffs are good at teaching and activities. Student and teacher ratio is 5:3. The teachers qualification is all of them are Ph.D. staff. The teaching method is good class room has a smartboard and labs are provided well. the exams are not very difficult they provide materials for the study.

Overall a good college

The eligibility of my course is 50 percent marks in 12th in the commerce stream. The application form can be issued from the office and the website and the application fee is 100. There are reservations available.

I chose this course since I had an interest in this course. There are also good opportunities in this course and good placements available. The faculty is highly qualified and the faculty-student ratio is 1:20. The exams are conducted once a month.

A WONDERFUL COLLEGE

There is no entrance exam for the candidate. Have to submit some information like the 12 and 10 mark sheets and aadhar card, and community certificate of the candidate. Furthermore, there is no difficulty to apply for admission. It's will be quite easy for the candidate.

I am very much interested in this course. Additionally, I'm always liked to study microbiology. So I chose this course. Faculty are sufficiently here to teach. Here all are qualified and well knowledged. Exams are somewhat good because all students are aware of the exams previously so they can revise lessons properly.

HONEST OPINION ON HICAS

The eligibility for the course is very simple, the college is ready to provide you with the course and two month's training will be given on the particular core subject. The application form can be found in the very corridor and there will be many people to help you on filling the admission form and guide you through the entire process. Reservations are there for caste and category-based SC/ST students who have a huge offer but they neglect to provide if you are ready to struggle for the rights you can get the reservation quota seats. The very necessary improvement is to make the students knowledgeable about the scholarship that management provides as well as the government, then they should give the correct details about the reservation quota seats.

The course that I opted for in Computer Science with an add-on course IBM which cost me about 10,000 is absurd and I hope that I can reap some value from it. I chose this course because I was informed that two certifications will be provided and a recommendation letter from the particular company. Currently, there are at least 100 students in computer science and we have two sections very few opted for IBM and the faculty is not much trained regarding lectures and mostly the same lecturers will come for two or three majors 1:3 ratio of staff and teachers. The staffs are well qualified yet there is a lack of well teaching because most often they just read out the paragraph and leave the class. Teaching methods are pretty bad there is a lack of information sharing from the faculty. Exams were conducted regularly before each semester's end there will be two CIA(internals) and one Model paper based on the marks will grant. The exams were very easy to pass and it was not difficult.

HICET Review

I was admitted through counselling so my admission process is quite easy. I gave my provisional allotment and paid the fees they gave my admission. There are some first graduates and reservations. The hostel process is quite difficult for my friends but I have paid my fees online so it is easy for me.

The faculty Members are very good but some of them do not teach very well. teachers are very qualified and they are qualified with doctorates. students should read daily which will help them to score well in exams and learn extra from what they learn extra in college
