Vins Christian College of Engineering, Kanyakumari was established by Mr Nanjil M Vincent in 2004. It is a member institution of Vins Christian Group of Engineering Colleges. It is a Christian minority educational institution. It is located at Chunkankadai, Nagercoil – Trivandrum NH – 47.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

Its activities within the college are: NSS Day Celebration, Career guidance for NSS volunteers, Eye checkup, Skill development in First aid, Disaster management, public speaking, HIV/AIDS awareness etc

Library:

It has a collection of more than 20,000 books from all branches of engineering. It houses rich source of 721 E-journals, 26202 indexed journals, 1700 E-books and online content from consortiums like IEEE, SPRINGER, BLACKWELL, ASME, ASCE etc. Large number of National, International journals, Periodicals & Reference material are also present.

Hostels:

Good hostel facilities available for both boys & girls within the campus. A Central Gymnasium equipped with body building equipments is present that also conducts Yoga sessions for students. A Mess hall & a canteen is provided in the premises of every hostel that serve Vegetarian as well as Non – Vegetarian food.

Medical Facility:

A Health care center equipped with all sort of First Aid Medicines and a full time attendant Medical superintendent along with part time qualified specialists in general medicines is present in the campus. The center also has a Medical Room to provide intensive care to students in times of severe illness.
