Remarks :

The overall learning experience which a two year campus life gives is immense & the bonds you make with people during the two years are the most cherished ones. You get an experience of living in an alien environment with unknown people from throughout the country from different cultural backgrounds.

Ques. Which is a better college for an MBA in Ops/Finance, XIMB BM or IMT Ghaziabad PGDM FT?

● Top Answer By Keshav Jindal on 16 Jul 21

Ans. One of my cousins recently converted both IMT Ghaziabad and XIM Bhubaneswar, and personally opted for the latter. It is suggested that you opt for XIM Bhubaneswar for pursuing your career in operations or finance. IMT Ghaziabad is a renowned and good institute, especially if you are going to choose marketing. XIMB receives participation from various top consultancy firms visiting the campus with various in-hand placement offers. The only possible downside is the tuition fees at XIMB. It is rather on a slightly higher side. Institute XIM, Bhubaneshwar IMT, Ghaziabad No. of Participating Companies 107 179 Average Salary Package (CTC) INR 15.42 LPA INR 13.66 LPA Highest Salary Package(CTC) INR 24 LPA INR 27 LPA No. of PPO/PPIs offered 74 87 Top Recruiting Companies Capgemini, Comviva, Deloitte, IBM, ICICI Bank, Infosys, etc Mahindra & Mahindra, Google, Citi Bank, Deloitte, Accenture, E&Y, Infosys, L&T, etc. In a nutshell, XIM Bhubaneswar can have a slightly better edge than IMT Ghaziabad.Read more

Ques. Which is the best choice for an experienced IT professional? XIMB, TAPMI or Great Lakes for MBA?

● Top Answer By Mukul Parashar on 13 Jul 21

Ans. If you want to join the IT sector after completing the course and have more than 4 years of experience, the Great Lakes 1 year program is a good option to consider, but it is something that will help you advance your career in the same direction. When it comes to acceptance, a regular PGDM of two years more preferred. Given the chance, even if you want to do IT roles but on a higher level of management, Great Lakes can be a good option, but it can not compete with XIMB's brand value. So, your preference order should be as the following. XIMB BM Great Lakes TAPMI I am not considering XIMB HR; if that is your priority, there is no need to consider other options because the other two B-schools do not have comparable backgrounds to match XIMB HR. I’m referring to regular PGDM programs in which you will choose your majors later on after exploring common subjects offered in the first few terms. The final decision is yours to make.Read more

Ques. Is Ximb a good college to invest 17 lacs or better wait for an year?

● Top Answer By Shilpa Nayak on 09 Jul 21

Ans. Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB) is a good college for pursuing your management studies. Being a student of XIMB myself, I can say that the competition in XIMB is very high, so if you get a seat in XIMB then don’t take it for granted. You don’t have to wait for one year because every minute is very precious. So don’t spend one year waiting to get admission to a good college. Even if you are getting into the top 10 colleges of India, then also it will not guarantee your better future. If you have been admitted to Symbiosis or Amity or any other college then the scenario would be different. Categories MBA at XIMB Course Fee 20.3 lakh Course Duration 2 years Highest CTC 26 LPA Average CTC 15 LPA Recruiting Companies Nestle, PwC, Crisil, CitiBank, etc. Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB) is a good college and you can easily invest 17 Lacs. You don’t have to wait for another year and waste your precious time.Read more

Ques. Is it worth taking admission in XIMB for global mba?

● Top Answer By Admin on 09 Jul 21

Ans. First of all, no college or university can guarantee your placements. There is a placement cell in the college that takes care of placements, but Global MBA students cannot get decent placements by depending on the placement team. Any college can only provide you with a degree and tag. To get a decent job you have to search on your own. Investing so much in Global MBA is not a good idea. Also, ROI is an important factor, which is why it is suggested that you do not invest in it. Categories XIMB for Global MBA Course Fee 20.30 lakh Course Duration 2 years Highest CTC 26 LPA Average CTC 15 LPA Recruiting Companies Nestle, PwC, Crisil, CitiBank, etc. It is not worth taking admission to Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB) for a global MBA. It will only waste your money.Read more

Ques. Is XIMB HR good for a fresher? How are the placements at XIMB HR? I have a score of 214 in NMAT. What are my chances of getting admission in XIMB HR?

● Top Answer By Janvi Bhambri on 08 Jul 21

Ans. The institute has fallen from the heights where it used to be. It used to attract a large number of applicants when it was still XIMB. Ever since it became XAHR, it does not appear to be attracting a big number of applicants anymore. Now, coming to your score, it depends on your performance in sectionals. XAHR demands high sectional scores in NMAT. If your sectionals are clear at 214 i.e. 60 in VA, 65 in QA, and 60 in LR, you can very much expect a call from NMIMS Mumbai. The HR program of NMIMS is more renowned than that of XUB. The placement reports of XAHR for HR are as follows: Particulars XAHR Placements Number of students 374 Number of recruiters 97 Highest package INR 24 LPA Median package INR 14.5 LPA Average package INR 15.51 LPA The top recruiters are Airtel, Accenture, Deloitte, J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Cipla, etc. The students of human resource management get placed in profiles such as generalist, recruitment, C & B, streams pertaining to talent, etc. If you have a working experience of 2-4 years, give XAHR a shot as it would be a good place for you.Read more
