The course was chosen because of t gives an idea of various fields one can go for and since students don't know which specific career path to choose once they are out of school, the course helps in providing knowledge in all the possible spheres of multimedia and Mass comm. The faculty is pretty qualified and have industry knowledge. The exams are fairly easy and comprise of class tests, practical projects and written examinations.
The course eligibility is for anyone who has passed the 12th board exam with a certain minimum percentage requirement. Exam details could be found on the IP college website or the Delhi University website. There is a quota for OBC st and sc. The University of Delhi portal is quite slow, so it would be better if it's more faster.
JEET is the placement cell of my college. It brings job opportunities from good companies like Infosys, Deloitte, etc. A student after the fourth semester is eligible for campus placements. Before that, they get a stipend in the internships which varies from 5k to 15k. The companies which come to my college offer 4 lakhs to 12 lakhs per annum. Sometimes, it can be 25 lakhs too. The procedures to get into the selection of companies are difficult. The college has its own brochure to make a CV and one should be an active member of the placement cell they should attend all the webinars and seminars to be eligible for the company selection. I'm planning to do a master's in economics from any of the colleges of Delhi University which is on the north campus. The target is Stephen's College. And for that, I have to give the entrance exam.
I got admission in the year 2020. At that time, there were two criteria to get admission to the colleges of Delhi University - merit-based and entrance based. They used to reserve seats accordingly. If someone doesn't score well in the 12th class, they can go for the entrance exam. I got into the college merit-based as I scored 94 but now there are no such criteria merit-based, everyone will get Delhi University colleges in entrance based, and the exam is CUET. The application forms come out in the month of February, the exam is conducted around May. The cost of the form is 550-650, various on the categories for SCs and STs, it is 550rs and for general, it is 650rs. The application form is available on the Cuet UG website. They release 6-7 cut-offs on the basis of the availability of seats. Some of the colleges take more time in verifying the documents during admission, so I think they should look into it most of the time, there are transaction issues. So, they should improve the server.
Since I am interested in computers, I selected this course. The faculty is mostly good, they are pretty sincere and hardworking. Though it's a bit too strict than what is imagined when we think about college life. Our exams are being conducted in a hurry since our term started late.
Since last year, i.e 2022, you can get into IPCW, a college of the University of Delhi by giving CUET. You are eligible to give CUET after graduating from school, i.e. class 12. You will have to select your college priority on the DU site (by registering with the same CUET roll number).
I chose this course because I have an interest in this course and I always wanted to pursue this subject and make my career in this The faculty is very good and the student ratio is also very good there is enough teacher according to the student ratio. Every faculty is very codified. And are very good at their job. It is okay to pass the exam it is not very difficult.
1. Cuet was the eligibility for admission The application was available on chrome on the official website of nta yes there were reservations for college admission. I find it beneficial for a students who don't have enough resources. Yes the admin block is quite sluggish it can be improved
