IEHE Bhopal Admission 2023 (Open): Courses, Eligibility, Application Form, Dates
Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) is a state level autonomous institution established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. It is affiliated to Barkatullah University and is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The institute offers a various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, M.A, M.Sc, M.Phil and PG Diploma.
- Admissions to all UG and PG courses offered by IEHE Bhopal shall be based on norms established by Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.
- The selection of candidates shall be affected on the basis of merit as per marks secured in qualifying examination.
- For Admission to UG courses, candidate must have passed 10+2 examination from recognized board.
- For B.Sc, candidate must pass 10+2 with PCM or PCB depending on the specialization for eligibility.
- For admission to PG courses, candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from recognized university for eligibility.
- Candidates must register themselves on the online admission portal of DHE, M.P and participate in online counselling.
- Candidate must opt for IEHE as their preferred college by entering the correct code.
- Registration fees shall be charged for each counselling round and candidates shall remit it in online only.
- The College Level Counselling (CLC) shall be conducted in case of vacancy declared by the competent authority.
- The institute reserves seats as per the norms of State of Madhya Pradesh.

IEHE Bhopal UG Admission 2023
IEHE offers degree courses in B.A, B.Sc. and B.Com at under graduate level. The duration of these courses is three-year and offered in various specializations. The selection of candidates will be solely based on merit basis. A minimum of 60% marks in 10+2 examination of a recognized board is the basic eligibility. Key Points for UG Admission:
- The eligibility criteria has been relaxed to 55% for Schedule Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Physically Challenged categories candidates.
- Candidates should register at official website of MP registration portal for online counselling, followed by participation in choice filling of college, course and specialisation.
- Candidates from Science stream can apply for Honours subjects in Science, Commerce and Arts.
- Candidates from Commerce stream can apply for subjects in Commerce and Arts.
- Candidates from Arts stream can apply for subjects in Arts only.
IEHE Bhopal PG Admission 2023
At PG level, IEHE offers M.A in six specialisations, M.Sc in four specialisations, M.Com and PG Diploma. Eligible candidates may also apply for M.Phil in Mathematics. The admissions to these courses are done on the merit of qualifying examination. The college also offers PG Diploma courses in five specializations.
For MA, Candidate must pass at Bachelor’s degree from recognized board. For M.Sc., candidate with B.Sc in same subject as of opting in M.Sc. For M.Com, candidate with B.Com or BBA degree is eligible for admission. For M.Phil degree, candidate with M.Sc. Mathematics is eligible for admission. Apply for PG Courses

Key Points for PG Admission:
- Reserved seat candidates shall receive 5% relaxation.
- College may invite applications from eligible candidates under College Level Counselling after declaration of vacant seats by DHE, MP.
- In case of admission to PG Diploma, candidates shall be admitted on first come first serve basis subject to availability of seats.
- Admissions to all the courses shall be completed by August, 2021.
IEHE Bhopal Application Process 2023
Applicants must register through Department of Higher Education to seek admissions into the college. Step by step procedure to register is given here:
- Log on e-pravesh official website or MP Higher Education website and register for admission of UG & PG Course separately.
- After registration appear for document verification at an assigned Government College (Verification Centers).
- Thereafter, candidates are required to participate in counselling as per the given schedule.
- Those candidates whose names are declared in the merit list must report to the college to confirm their seats.
- The counselling comprises of three rounds and College Level Counselling (CLC) is conducted in case vacant seats are declared.
- Registration Fees: INR 100 (for first round of counselling), INR 250 (for second round of counselling) and INR 500 (for third round of counselling).

Scholarship
The institute grants a number of scholarships and awards on merit and need basis to eligible candidates. The details and scholarship criteria are explained in the table below:
