Institute of Professional Education Research (IPER) is a private institute and was established in 1996 by Chaitanya Siksha Samiti. It is accredited to AICTE and NBA associations and affiliated to Barkatullah University.
Under-graduate courses offered by IPER, Bhopal includes BBA, B.Com. Hons., B.Com. in Economics, Advertising & Sales Management, Foreign Trade or Insurance and post-graduate MBA course as well as full time Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).
- Admission to B.Com and BBA is through an Online process of registration by Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Portal.
- MBA aspirants have to register for DTE, MP counselling on the official website.
- PGDM candidates have to register on the IPER, Bhopal website.
- Candidates applying in BBA and B.Com. courses must have passed the 10+2 examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category).
- Selection in UG courses will be based on merit in the qualifying exam.
- Applicants to MBA course should have a graduate degree in any discipline with minimum of 50% (45% marks required from SC/ST/OBC candidates) marks in aggregate.
- Candidates interested in MBA program must appear in CMAT entrance exam to be eligible for admission.
- For admission to PGDM, applicant must have a graduation degree from UGC or AIU recognized university.
- For admission to PGDM program, candidate must have appeared in any of CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or any other national level management entrance exam.

IPER, Bhopal BBA, B.Com., B.Com. Hons. Admission 2023
B.Com. program is offered by the Institute of Professional Education and Research in four major specializations, viz, Economics, Advertising and Sales Management, Insurance and Foreign Trade. B.Com. Honors and BBA in Production Management, Marketing, Finance, and Human Resource are also provided by the institute.
The minimum eligibility to apply for various UG courses is to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 45% aggregate marks. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Selection of candidates for all UG courses is merit based and the admission process is conducted by MP Higher Education portal.

IPER, Bhopal PGDM and MBA Admission 2023
IPER, Bhopal offers MBA and PGDM to aspiring candidates. To secure admission in MBA program, candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate. However, the minimum eligibility to apply in PGDM is having passed bachelor’s course.
Final selection of candidates in PGDM is based on any of CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT Entrance Exam scores followed by GD and PI. Whereas, candidates seeking admission to MBA are required to appear in AICTE-CMAT entrance exam to be eligible.

Key points:
- CMAT is a 180 minutes test comprising of 25 question each in 4 sections.
- For each correct answer 4 marks will be awarded, and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- 50% weightage is given to entrance exam, 30% to GD and remaining 20% to Personal Interview.
- The total intake of seats in MBA program is 300 students.
- Admission to non-entrance based candidates to MBA course will be given based on qualifying exam scores and counselling as per the DTE, Govt. of MP norms.
IPER, Bhopal Application Process 2023
Students applying for any of the under-graduate course by IPER must visit the official website of Higher Education Department, Govt. of MP. to complete the registration process. Whereas, those who wish to apply for MBA and PGDM courses must appear in any of the national level entrance exam before registering themselves for admissions.
Steps to be followed for admission to Under-Graduate courses:
- Visit the official website of MP Higher Education portal.
- Complete the registration process.
- Students need to enter a college code while applying for the IPER which is Ins1465
- Save and take the print out of the registration fee challan.
- Make the payment and take the print out of the application form.
- Get the application form verified from any of the given government college.
Steps to be followed for admission to MBA:
- After the results of AICTE-CMAT are out, candidate must visit the official website of DTE, Madhya Pradesh for participating in counselling program.
- Register yourself at the DTE, Govt. of MP website and duly fill in the required details as well as the preferences (Select IPER, if you wish to get admitted to the Institute).
- Seats will be allotted to students in the IPER college as per the merit secured and preferences made.
- Visit the institute after getting the seat along with the necessary documents.
Steps to be followed for admission to PGDM:
- Visit the official website of IPER to register yourself under the required head.
- Duly fill in the registration form and print the form after downloading the filled in form.
