MES Teacher’s College, Bengaluru, Karnataka was founded by Mysore Education Society with a focus to seek for excellence in the year 1958. Prof. K.V Doreswamy was the first principle of the college. In order to produce worthiness in teachers and make them capable enough to impart good education, the college prepares teachers who can contribute to the growth of the country at national and international level. In fact, the college aims to inculcate high thinking so as to develop a feeling of honesty and self-sacrifice in future teachers. They are encouraged by several means to attain purity of thoughts, deed and word as well with the help of self-discipline. In the year, 1998 the college was upgraded as a ‘college of teacher education’.
