  • With extremely talented and hardworking teachers, it was a great help to all of the students.
  • The Placement Cell does a good job informing students about internship opportunities, although none of them are on campus.
  • They often snatch away the best talent from our college, offering positions such as managers, assistants, executives, and so forth.
  • The SUNIT SARAL AWARD is awarded to the best students of the I, II, and III Year Psychology, as selected by the department.
  • Fests were conducted every year in March. Good chairs and tables. Basketball, badminton, etc., games. AICUF.
  • All the outstation students either live in PGs near the college or rent homes at cheaper locations in Delhi.
  • I chose this college because it is one of the renowned and best all-women colleges of the University of Delhi.

Dislike

  • Deloitte, NIIT, McKinsey, PwC, and some other small firms visited the college for placements during my year.
  • No, I didnt need one, and I guess the college didnt offer a hostel. Also, I live with my family, and it is not so far away from the place I stay

Placement Experience:

People become eligible for placements from the 5th semester. All the big 4s and big 3s visit our campus and hire good numbers. Details can be taken from the college website. The best part is that it is not only the commerce or economics department that are placed but even students from other departments who wish to pursue a creative non-academic career have opportunities.

Remarks:

The admission process was flexible and I didn't apply for any entrance exam. I just got admission based on 12th grade. I got admission in the first cut-off list which closed at a 95%. For the dates and links, I followed the official page of DU on Instagram and kept a constant check on the websites too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because I have an interest in political science. Faculty: student ratio is unstable. There are many students but compared to that faculty is very few. Enough time had been given between semesters and it is not that hard to pass or even score well in exams. The topics given in the exam are pretty much simple.

Remarks:

I checked the percentage criteria and I fill the form online for my college admission and pay the fees also. And after some hours my admission is done. I find the college form online I filled it out by myself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of my interest in psychology. And the curriculum of the course is very vast. The ratio between student and faculty is well maintained as there are 2 groups divided in each section for practicals and for theory the class is divided into 2 sections of around 30 students each. And there is 1 teacher for each subject and practical. The faculty is actually a mix some have PhDs and good experience in the field and the majority of the teachers have good teaching methods which are well grasped by students but on the downside BA Programme students are given new and less experienced teachers than BA Hons students. There are 2 main exams per year 1st being midterms in the month of December and 2nd end terms in the month of April both of which are relatively easy to pass but it's difficult to score excellent marks because of the scoring system for 65% and above attendance, difficult checking of papers, and difficulty getting full marks in internals.

Remarks:

Delhi University has many great colleges and 2 of them are not fully affiliated with Du and hence have a slightly different procedure from the rest one of these 2 colleges is JMC The admission procedure was easy and there were no entrance exams for the 2020 batch. The admission process at JMC follows these main steps for General Category under which I got my admission: • Filling up the university form from Du Portal • Completing the University’s registration process • then fill up the college’s individual online admission form and register with the college itself from the JMC portal • Application fee: 250 • 2020 intake started in June Eligibility of the course • JMC’s criteria for calculating the best four combinations is separate. • The criteria include English as a compulsory subject • the three other subjects can be chosen from the list given by the college • 10+2 (preferably with Psychology) • Cutoff of 90% Improvements can be: • Update/notification system
