S.V.N College of Education was established in the year 2000. It was established by the endeavors of S.V.N. Educational Society, Hamirpur & by the courteousness of the H.P. Govt., H.P. University & N.C.T.E.  Jaipur. It offers B. Ed. (intake 200), M. Ed. (intake 35), J.B.T. (intake 50) and B.C.A. (intake 40) for the students. S.V.N College of Education is accredited by the (NAAC) National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The college has state of art infrastructure provided with essential facilities for imparting quality of education. The faculty of the college is qualified and experienced in their field of expertise.

Admission through

 The admission in the college is on the basis of an exam Common Entrance test (C.E.T.) which is conducted by the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Direct admission is not possible in college.

Computer lab

The college has a well equipped and well ventilated computer lab. The computer lab has about 26 computer systems with latest software and also has 1 LCD projector. And the IT (Information Technology) as BCA has well equipped IT labs which have 20 computers

Library

The college has a well stocked library. The library has about 8000 books and around 34 national& international Journals for the students. The library and the reading room are in an area of about 1200 Sq. Ft.

The college is about (25 KM) away from Hamirpur & about (20 KM) away from Sarkaghat.
