KMM College of Arts and Science was established in 2008. It is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kottayam. The college offers B. Com, B.Sc, M. Com, M. Sc, BA, BCA, BBA, BSW, MA, MCA, MBA and MSW courses at UG as well as PG level. Total 600 and 200 seats are available in UG and PG courses respectively.
- All admissions are conducted through the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) of MGU.
- For UG courses, the candidates should have passed 10 + 2 or any equivalent examination.
- Students applying for BCA should have passed 10+2 with Mathematics/Computer Science/Informatics Practices as optional subjects.
- B. Com. Candidates must have studied book keeping and accountancy and any of the two of following subjects: Commerce, Commercial Correspondence and Commercial Geography, Economics, Life Insurance with Salesmanship, Banking with Secretarial Practice, Business Studies, Mathematics, Computer Science/ Computer applications, Informatics Practice& Management, Informatics Practice or Management as optional.
- B. Sc. students must have passed 10 + 2 with Science stream.
- There is no minimum required percentage for any UG course except B. Com.
- The students applying for MBA must have a valid CMAT/ KMAT or CMAT score.
- Those who have passed BCA, B Sc (Computer Science/IT) can apply for MCA (Lateral).

The college also offers MA, MBA, MCA and MSW programs at PG level. Key Points:
- For MBA, the final selection is based on performance in GD and PI.
- Candidates appearing for their final year examination are also eligible to apply.
- There is no minimum required percentage for SC/ST candidates.
- There is 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped category and 2% for SEBC category.
- The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in more than one chance (excluding languages) their final aggregate marks will be calculated by derating at the rate of 5%.

KMM College of Arts and Science Application Process 2023
Candidates can apply for CAP based courses by following the given steps:
- Visit the CAP-MGU website and create Password and ID and a Password.
- After filling the application form, the candidates are required to pay the application fee by clicking on the ‘PAY NOW’ button which will redirect them to the Online Payment Gateway. The candidates can use Debit Card/ Credit Card or Internet Banking facility to make an online payment.
- After remitting the fee, fill personal details, academic eligibility and the options correctly.
- MGU will publish UG allotment lists from June 7, 2021 to August 28, 2021 and PG allotment lists from August 24, 2021 to October 10, 2021.
- If allotted a seat, the candidates must report to the college for further admission procedure by August 29, 2021 (UG) and November 13, 2021 (PG).

Application Process for Non- CAP courses & Management Quota:
- The application forms are available offline at the college premises and online for MBA and MCA courses.
- The application fee of INR 100 can be paid in cash at the college office and INR 150 can be paid via DD drawn in favor of Principal, KMM College of Arts & Science, Thrikkakara, Cochin - 21.
- The selected candidates should report to the college on the date and time fixed for the interview along with the following documents:
- Interview Card and Qualifying Certificate
- T.C and Conduct Certificate
- Eligibility certificate if required
- Three copies of passport size photos
- Migration Certificate in the case of candidates from other universities
