FAQs

Ques. Why is the KNC cutoff higher every year?

Ans. There may be various reasons due to which KNC Cutoffs remain higher every year such as the popularity of the courses and college, the low difficulty level of board examination, ratio of a number of students exceeds the availability of seats, or higher marks obtained in class 12th Which causes tougher competition, etc. Check: KNC Reviews

Ques. Can a student take admission to B.Sc (H), if I qualify for the KNC cut off in the first list?

Ans. Yes, the candidates who secure the equivalent or higher than the required cut-off marks are eligible to take admission in KNC College in the very first list. However, the cutoff lists are prepared on the basis of merit scores achieved by the students in the class 10+2 board examination.

Ques. How will a candidate get confirmation if the student qualifies for the KNC cutoff for admission?

Ans. As soon as the cutoff lists of KNC are out, they will be displayed on the official websites of Delhi University and KNC. After this, the cutoff marks which are the basis of admission to the college will be displayed on the notice board, from time to time, in accordance with the university schedule during the admission period.

Ques. If a student did not opt for B.Com. (H), at KNC but he qualified for the cutoff. Can the student still apply?

Ans. No, it is not possible for a student to choose another course like B.Com. (H), which he or she did not opt for at the time of registration for studying in KNC. According to the rules of DU, only those applicants who have chosen the exact college and their course combination in the common application of DU UG Merit Based Admission, are eligible to apply for admission upon qualifying the cut-off.

Ques: How many lists are released by KNC?

Ans: Every year KNC approximately releases cutoff lists up to 7th. But it depends on the vacant seats and the total number of students who appeared in 12th and qualified for the examination.
