Kanoria College was established in the year 1951 and was converted to a full-fledged degree college in 1959. It is located in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. It was formerly known as Sharda Sadan College and is a division of Kanoria Charitable Society. It is affiliated to Rajasthan University.

Kanoria College, Jhunjhunu UG Admission 2023

Kanoria College, Jhunjhunu offers B.A., B. Com., and BCA degree program at the undergraduate level. Kanoria College is planning to soon introduce B.A.+ B.Ed and B.Sc. + B.Ed. four-year integrated degree course.

Candidates applying for B.A. and B.Com degree program at this college must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board. Candidates applying for BCA course must have 48% or more aggregate marks to be eligible. Apply for UG Courses

Admission to all the courses is done on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination. The merit list is prepared by the college on the basis of candidates aggregate marks in Class XII or equivalent. Applicants whose name will appear in the merit list will be called for the admission process by the college.

Key Points for UG Admission:

  • OBC/SOBC/SC/ST candidates must have the minimum passing marks in all the subjects and in aggregate to be eligible.
  • There are 120 seats each in BA and B. Com program and 40 seats in BCA program.
  • For BCA course, candidates must have English as a compulsory subject.
  • 1% relaxation in cut-off is permitted to all girl candidates.
  • Marks obtained in Physical Education, Music, Painting, Commercial Art, Sculpture, Agriculture, Typing/Shorthand, etc. are not considered as a part of the aggregate.

Kanoria College, Jhunjhunu Application Process 2023

Kanoria College, Jhunjhunu application procedure is carried out in an offline mode. Candidates can obtain the prescribed application form from the college itself. Candidates will have to submit the duly filled-in application forms to the College campus/office along with the processing fee and the required documents.

Once the form is submitted, candidates will have to wait for the announcement of the merit list cum notice to find out whether they have been shortlisted or not for the admission process. The merit list will be available on the official website of the college and will be put on the notice board at the campus.

The intimation about the date, time and venue of the admission process will be done through the merit list only. 

Steps to apply:

  • Candidates can get the application form from the Admission office of Kanoria College.
  • Candidates will have to fill in the Application Form and submit it along with the required processing fee using cash or Demand Draft.
  • DD should be made in favour of “Kanoria College” and payable at Jhunjhunu.
  • Candidates can also collect the application pack from various bookstore by paying the application fee.
  • Completed applications should be submitted at the Institute offices along with the fee and necessary enclosures within the stipulated time.
  • All the duly filled in application form should be submitted/sent to the College Campus, along with the documents.

Kanoria College offers Scholarship Scheme for economically weak/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped and Female Students studying at the college.

  • Students who come from an economically weak background, from a rural area and/or belong to the minority class are eligible.
  • Income of the parents of the candidate applying for Scholarship should not be more than INR 2 Lakh per annum from all sources.
  • A good academic record is a must.
  • Candidates will have to apply for this scholarship with all the relevant documents (as specified below).
  • Only applications that are complete, and include all relevant documents will be considered.
  • Kanoria College also offers few admission time scholarship to Girl candidates.
  • Scholarship to Girl students of B. A./B. Com.(for new admission only) of INR 4000 (At the time of admission INR 2000, at 2nd Instalment INR 2000)
  • Scholarship to Girl students of BCA program (for new admission only) of 25% of tuition fee will be provided.
  • Scholarship to Girl students of B. A. /B. Com. (old students) of INR 1500 and of INR 2000 for BCA girls(old girl students) will be provided at the time of 2nd Installment.
