St. Cyril’s College was established in 1981 as a Junior College by his Holiness Moran Baselious Marthoma Mathews II, the Catholicos of the East and the Malankara Metropolitan. But in 1991 the college was upgraded to an institution of higher education. Since the completion of delinking of the Pre-degree courses in 2001, the college has become full-fledged Institution. It is located at St. Cyril’s Mount, a scenic and serene at Adoor in Kerala State. The college is under the Corporate Management of the Holy Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church of India. The college offers Bachelor’s Degree and Post-Graduate degree courses to the students in which Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) are involved.

The objective of the college is to prepare students with quality education and to create in them qualities characteristics of a good citizen. The college is providing various facilities to the students also in which NCC (National Cadet Corps), NSS (National Service Scheme) are available. Career Guidance Cell is also offered by the college for students so that they can select their career according to their choice.
