IIMC Delhi Admissions
To take admissions in PG Diploma Courses in IIMC, a candidate has to first appear in a written Test. This test will check the understanding of the candidate on national and international issues, Aptitude, Language Proficiency, etc.
Those who qualify the written test will be ranked course wise and category wise. They’ll then appear for the Group Discussions, where a topic will be assigned. Candidate will be judged on his Communication Skills.
Third round will be an Interview, where panelists will have an interaction with the students to check their understanding of everyday matters.
How to Apply?
- Candidates need to fill up an online admission form available on www.iimc.gov.in
- Payment for Entrance Examination Fee needs to be done on the online gateway on the Website.
- Candidates can apply for separate courses. For each Course, separate forms need to be filled.
- Candidates with successful submission of Applications will be provided a Unique Registration Number (URN).
- This URN will be used for Admit Card Download.
- Candidates need to appear in a 75 marks written Exam.
- NRI Students need not appear in the written Entrance Test.
- Selected Candidates have to go through a Group Discussion of 10 marks, and Interview of 15 marks.
- Candidates are provisionally admitted to each course based on the merit list generated from the 100 marks of the 3 tests combined.
- Centre is allotted on the basis of merit-cum-preference.
- Successful Candidates are given 7-day time to submit their fee.

IIMC DeLhi Facilities
IIMC provides its students several facilities to make their learning comfortable & fun. Following is the list of Facilities being provided by the Institution.
- Library – It has the largest specialized Mass Communication Library in India. It has a collection of over 40,000 books. Students can borrow 2 books at a time.
- IIMC Publications – 2 research Journals are published by IIMC, “Communicator” in English, and “Sanchar Madhyam” in Hindi.
- Printing Press – It is functional with offset and screen printing facility.
- IT Infrastructure – Audio-visual Facilities, Camera Control Units, DSLR, Sound Recording Studios, etc. to help students in their assignments and learning.
- Auditorium – Named as “Mahatma Gandhi Manch”, it has a seating capacity of over 400 at a time. One mini auditorium with 100 seating capacity named “Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak Mini Auditorium” is also available.
- Sports Facility – Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, etc. can be played here.
- Yoga & Wellness Center – Consultation from General Physician is free here.
- Hostel Facilities – In Delhi, Hostel Facility is available only for Outstation Girls.
- Bank & ATM – Central Bank of India has a branch within the campus. Also, several ATMs are in close range of the campus.
IIMC Delhi Faculty
IICM provides faculty with years of experience in relevant fields. It has both in-house Teachers, as well as guest lectures by Visiting Faculty, and Experts. Currently, it has 11 in-house faculty members in its Delhi Campus. No monotonous Schedule is followed, and the entire Course is activity based. K. Ganesan is the current Director General of IICM, who has been a senior officer in Indian Information Service (1982 Batch).
