What students say about Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce - [RCASC]

Likes

  • Here we have a very good faculty who have very good qualifications. The majority of the faculty members have completed their Ph.D.
  • You can apply for an internship on your own. There will also be plenty of project opportunities through the lecturers contacts.
  • No, there were no placements for BSc students. People had said that there would be placements, but during the actual process, there was no one to guide us. However, when it came to career guidance, our teachers provided the best support through their experience and the way they guided us.
  • In terms of fees, its pretty good and more affordable than most colleges.
  • Our computer lab is excellent as all systems are updated and fully connected with internet connectivity.
  • The hostel infrastructure and facilities were excellent, with sophisticated rooms, nutritious food, laundry facilities, parking availability, and a fee structure of RS120000 per year for one to two persons per room.
  • Everything is good with my college, and I am happy with it. The faculty of some departments should have experience to control the students.

Dislike

  • The curriculum was as per the Bangalore University syllabus, which was divided into six semesters equally distributed over three years.
  • If you are looking for placement in science at this college, there are no placements.
  • Im not sure about the loan facility offered by our college to any of the students, as it is not required by the students studying here. There is a national scholarship which every other student applies for.
  • Extracurricular activity club is conducting various activities. There is no lack in activities. There will be a lot of encouragement for sports. Labs are moderate in condition, not as much as expected. Labs are totally average

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to pursue my undergrad in something related to biology soo I thought that bsc in microbiology, genetics and biochemistry was apt for Mr faculties are really helpful and will be there for u no matter what si they are really good teaching methods is really good..they'll make presentations and teach you term exams were kinda messed up for us due to covid other than that everything was nice

Remarks:

I had finished my pre-university in biology I had taken an application formin the receptionist. they were kind and gave me all the required information, fees was around 100 (not sure because I don't remember clearly the receptionists are really kind and provide all the information required so I don't think there are any changes required.

Placement Experience:

The final-year students get into the placement interview based on the interest they have in the respective field most of the students get selected into the best companies across India and the value-added program makes us acquire more knowledge

Remarks:

The admission process is so simple we have one round of group interviews with the staff members and the administrator we are asked to show our marks card and based on that they explained the fee structure and later explained the college rules and discipline

Placement Experience:

The placements are pretty good for a commerce background rather than science. Very few companies approach science background as students prefer higher studies rather than joking companies after just a UG course.

Remarks:

Should have more than 65%, no entrance exam is required, and the application form is available both offline and online. There are no reservations it is completely first come first serve basis. Timings of the admission staff should be altered and some more advertising should be done.
