Magadh Mahila College is the oldest college for women in Bihar. It was established in the year 1946. It is affiliated to Patna University. The college offers various UG and PG level degree and Diploma programs to eligible candidates in the disciplines of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management and Computer Applications.
- Candidates who wish to be considered for more than one course in Magadh Mahila College should submit a separate application for each course.
- Candidates must score a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying exam to be eligible to apply.
- Only girl students are eligible to apply to the various programs offered by the institute.
- Candidates who have qualified PUCET exam need to appear for the institute level entrance exam. Such candidates are selected on the basis of PUCET score.
- Candidates applying on the basis of proficiency in fine arts must be present for a trial on the prescribed date. Their selection will be based on their performance in the trial.

Magadh Mahila College UG Admission 2023: BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA and BSW
Magadh Mahila College offers an undergraduate level degree program in the disciplines of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Computer Applications. The courses offered are BA (Hons) in various specializations, B.Sc (Hons) in 6 specializations. The college also offers B.Sc Program, B.Com, BBA, BCA and BSW courses at the UG level.
The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these programs is a pass in I.A./ I.Sc./ I.Com./+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board or university. Magadh Mahila College Cutoff for UG Courses
Key Points:
- Admissions in Under-Graduate course shall be made purely on the basis of merit list prepared after the written entrance test and admission will be closed once the seats are filled.
- Request for admission will not be entertained without a duly submitted application form. No application for admission will be accepted after the notified last date.
- No individual intimation regarding admission will be sent. All notifications regarding admission to various courses will be put up on the college notice board.

The college currently offers an MA program in Social Science along with an M.Sc program. Candidates seeking admission to PG Diploma programs can choose from PGDCA (Computer Applications), PGDW & CW (Women & Child Welfare) and PGDPE (Population Education).
The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the PG programs offered by the institute is a Bachelor’s degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Computer Applications or any other equivalent degree. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of Entrance Test marks and interview.

- Candidates who have appeared in their final year exam and awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates who fail to secure a minimum of 50 percentile marks in the Entrance Test are not eligible for interview.
Magadh Mahila College Application Process 2023
Magadh Mahila College accepts applications from eligible candidates through offline mode only. All candidates are required to apply for the entrance test for further processing of their application. The process of application for admission is as follows:
- Candidates may obtain the application form and prospectus from the college sales counter. In case the applicant seeks hostel facility, the application form for the same can also be obtained from the counter.
- They must fill the application form with all the required details.
- The application fee can be paid in cash while purchasing the application form and the prospectus.
- Payment of application fee through cheque/ demand draft is also accepted by the institute. Applications that are mailed to the college must be sent along with a demand draft for the prescribed application fee.
- Candidates must take the entrance exam on the prescribed date and venue in order to qualify for counselling.
- The first (and subsequent) admission lists will be put up on the college notice board on the dates according to the Admission Schedule announced by the college. Candidates whose names make it to the merit list must report to the institute with all requisite documents.
- Once the applicant’s candidature is confirmed, he/she will need to deposit the admission fee in order to complete the admission process. The admission fee can be paid by Allahabad Bank (branch in college campus) challan only.
