Established in Vizianagaram, Maharajahs Post Graduate College came into action through the establishment of the Maharajah Alak Narayan society of arts and commerce (MANSAS) with an aim to decrease the socio-economic difference in the area. The functioning of the college resolves around the vision to promote the cause of educational development in general and to support the same by establishing an interactive learning environment. The college offers graduate programs in commerce and management studies and postgraduate courses in computer application, business administration, arts and science.

1. Digitalized Library and Book Bank Facility- The College opted for a digital form of library with a 20,000 book stock with access to international and national journals, magazines and periodicals. The library has 20 computer systems to access the internet with a 2 Mbps speed and also provides for a book issue facility.

2. Hostel Facility- The College provides separate hostel facilities for boys and Girls with an accommodation capacity of up to 70 female students and 60 male students. The college hostels are located at a distance of 2 km from the campus and have well-furnished rooms and all modern amenities.
