Twin-sharing rooms are allocated to students based on merit taking into consideration an index prepared on the basis of Candidate scores as well as the distance from Hometown. Hostels are allowed on the same day of the Physical Document verification process after admission. The meals provided in the mess are healthy, hygienic and tasty and a pretty well planned balanced diet consisting of Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks & Dinner is made available along with Canteen facilities. The mess remains closed once a week on Saturday night. The hostel fees are a meager 7000 per annum excluding mess charges.
The beauty of Banaras Hindu University is in its rich cultural and traditional heritage which promotes the spirit of character, integrity, and enterprise among the students. The lush green campus is one of the world's largest campuses. Annual fests held by IM-BHU are Unnayan (Cultural), Ransangram, and Pratispardha (Sports) conducted by clubs VisVires and Kalpavriksha respectively as well as events by other departments open to all BHU students like Spardha (Sports) 2022 & Kashiyatra 2023 (IIT-BHU), Elixir 2022 (Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU).
We have a twin sharing room, one student from MBA and one from MBA IB. A washing machine and geyser are provided in the bathroom. Food quality is also good enough and cheap as compared to other places. It costs only 50 rupees per meal. The hostel registration process is the same as the admission process, while filling out the admission form you have to choose for hostel too.
The campus is amazing. BHU has the biggest campus in India comprising different institutions and departments. One can learn whatever he wants, all the courses are available including dancing, singing, and performing arts. We have Gym, Swimming pool, Health center, and Library which makes the campus life just awesome.

Admission into IM-BHU requires aspirants to appear COMMON ADMISSION TEST (CAT) conducted by IIMs followed by applying online at the BHU Online Admissions Portal. Shortlisted candidates would then be required to appear in Group Discussions and Personal Interview Rounds before qualifying for Slot booking if eligible. The cutoff remains around the 80-85 percentile for General Category along with reservations for other categories. The deadline for filing the forms generally is on the day of the result declaration of the CAT exam.
ACBy - ABHIJEET CHAKRAVERTYThe admission process is not tough though. You have to appear for CAT, the average cutoff is 85 percentile but it goes down later. After CAT you have to fill out BHU's separate admission form. After that personal interviews and Group discussions will be conducted. Final merit will be made based on academics + CAT + GD/PI.
