I had not opted for hostel accommodation as I was staying with some relatives. There was a hostel facility from the second year onwards. The hostel rooms were on a sharing basis and had 3 inmates in each room. Apart from these there were a few PGs also available in the vicinity.
We had a congenial atmosphere in the campus. The gender ratio was around 60:40 and we had some international students also. The hospitality industry was a great leveler during our time. Everyone had to do everything that we were told to do. Right from cleaning toilets to washing dishes, we were trained to do so. This cleared all the fields and everyone got along great on the campus. We were fortunate that during our time we were not bothered or concerned about race / religion/ ethnicity/ etc.
I am a localite, but hostel facilities are very good and premier, we have many towers/buildings which are categorised on basis of semester of student studying in, we have 3 bed sharing for boys and 2 bed sharing for girls, even girls hostel have a/c and a private washroom which are not in boys hostel. Girls hostel is built up in corner, therefore boys interruption is very low.
Gender ratio would be 70-30 male-female. Campus Life is boring but safe. Very few extra curricular activities in the college. Sports and competitions do happen occasionally. No politics or gender inequality observed
The college lacks in extra curricular activities as there's no space for these activities but Shivaji park is located near college and once in a while some outdoor activities are arranged there as per time.
I have not opted for hostel, but college do have a very good hostel and food provided is also good. There are very few seats available for hostel and only in second year you can apply for hostel and selection is done on basis of First year performance. PGs nearby are expensive, so its better to perform well in FY and secure Hostel seat. But have to manage in FY
Campus life is very Vibrant. Gender ratio is 3:2 to M:F. Extracurricular includes fests like Cornucopia, kulture kurry, sports events, cocktail mocktail demos, celebrity chef demos, cooking competition etc. Labs include HK, Fnb and many kitchens. Campus is open minded and there is no decrimination been found on race, gender etc basis.
In first year, hostel will not be provided by the college you have to stay at pg or you can take flat on rent with 2-3 students togather. From 2nd year you will get hostel on the basis of attendance and marks. The fees for hostel is 85000 per yr inclusive of food. You have to pay it apart from college fees.
There are mainly four groups made the literature, cultural etc. You can be part of it for extra curriculum activities also sports teams are made for basketball, football etc. If you ard good at sports you can join them.
Yes hostel room are spacious with 3 bed occupancy and with the seafacing view hostel seats are few provided on the attendance basis, PG are expensive rent goes from 6000 to 15000 without food, tiffin services are available

We had an excellent learning experience during the three years spent there. It has made us what we are today. They imparted knowledge without any bais.by Abhijit Rege
time management is very poor in our college, students have to wait for 2-3 hrs for classes as on timetable. Most of the students come only for attendance to classes as classes are not very attractive to studentby Shrey singhal
Overall college offers a lot more than you expect it to give. The range of diverse knowledge will open new doors or opportunities for you. The harmonious environment will not let the memories wash away from your brain.by PRADUMAN KUMAR
