The only way to get into UVCE is through CET and that too with Top rankings Since the College is a government college it's best for merit holders and who want to complete the courses with low financial backgrounds with quality education. You need to write CET of Karnataka after your PUC or 12th Exams. The application can be found online. There are Reservation benefits for all categories such as OBC, GM, SC/ST. The admission process is smooth as you will get the allotment through CET Portal after you have been allotted this college in Counseling you can directly take admission.

UVCE- Heritage college

UVCE is one of the oldest college and with affordable education and experienced faculty. I opted this college owing to its placements and Faculty. Faculty student is ratio is good as there will be lectures from core fields as well as guest lectures. Faculties are highly qualified with their higher education qualification and PHD holders along with great experience practically. The exams were just like other engineering colleges but since it doesn't come under VTU, UVCE has a different syllabus and now their credit systems too. It gives a depth to the subject where it cannot be seen in other curriculums.
