Here are some aspects that make life at the UIET Chandigarh campus exciting and enjoyable. The cultural life at UIET is quite good with a lot of clubs and groups to join and develop a personality. Some of these are DCU(Dance Committee of UIET), Sports clubs, EDC(Entrepreneurship and placement cell) etc.
The whole of Panjab University has free WiFi facilities whether it's in college or hostels. The class infrastructure on average is good but the hostels hygiene is not up to the mark. Food is sometimes good and sometimes average in the college canteen as well as the hostel mess.
- Social Life is good at the campus, if you are a person that loves to take part in different events or organise it then it's fun. - We at UIET Have got some Fest but majorly GOONJ is something that is celebrated with lots of crazes and on a big scale as well. - we have got a good library, anyu books related to courses can be found there and make sure before the exam you get that as there are limited copies of each book and students tend to rent it, then you have no choice left, only online thing can be done. - Classrooms are okay, I mean what can you expect from Govt College ( I would rate 3/10) - Sports and extracurricular are done quite a much and students take part quite a much in these things.
The annual feat is Goonj, legacy, And so many tech fests. March, and September respectively. Every book is available in the library almost every this is available in the library. There are so many extracurricular activities. Nss, political, Company meet, There are so many social groups, clubs like juggad, toolbox, there are so many.
There are a lot of clubs and social groups. There is the BPC(Brand Promotion Committee) which works for the betterment of the campus and organizes fests in the college. IEEE, Sports Club, Dramatic Club, Toolbox(specifically for Mech Students), STAR(student team of alumni relations)
