What students say about Faculty of Law, University of Delhi

Likes

  • The curriculum of our course has been rated as one of the best in all of India.
  • I did many internships during my college time, though it was not a part of the curriculum, but they gave a good foundation to my career.
  • There is a placement cell, but the colleges placement record is not really good. However, its improving with each passing year.
  • Scholarships for minorities are available, and there is no need for a loan facility as the fees are not that high for those who cannot afford it.
  • You can easily see students from the South, North, Northeast, and even from other countries.
  • The students who require accommodation generally prefer private accommodation, but the university has several hostels. The students from this college can apply for them as soon as they secure admission into the college.
  • Excellent management and administration, especially in responding to each and every student regarding the submission of assignments and payment of fees.

Dislike

  • There are no internships, even though marks are given in exams. As a result, 90% of students fail in any subject.
  • No, the institution does not take any special steps to prepare the students for the placement season.
  • Actually, there is no fees hike policy regarding this. The scholarship is provided by the Institute for the reserved category students who are unable to afford to pay. However, no job is provided to any student; they have to find employment on their own.
  • Let me tell the truth, I couldnt get a college hostel because there were very few seats available

Course Curriculum Overview:

LL.B. is a very exciting course as it helps us in understanding the basics of our legal and administrative system. Faculty: student ratio was 40:1. The quality of teaching at Delhi university is excellent. The exams are taken on time and also things are really good here.

Remarks:

It required a graduation degree as it is a 3-year LL.B course. The application forms will be available on the du website. The application usually starts in the month of April. It gives a month of time for filling out the application form.
