Remarks :

offer three year LLB degree course. As the number of students grew, the department established its first Centre as Law Centre – I in 1970 and the second as Law Centre – II in 1971. The LL.B day classes of the Faculty of Law were shifted to newly established Campus Law Centre in 1975. The LL.M. and Ph.D. programmes are looked after directly by the Dean. We pursue the case method of teaching law; the department is not dependent on publishers' new editions of books as the case materials of LL.B. and LL.M. are revised by the faculty members every semester with dedication. Printed copies are distributed to all students without profit. In addition, we have a rich print library with e-resources.The faculty members are drawn with diversified knowledge and experience. Professors from other Universities including foreign Universities visit on various fellowship programs and conduct research in this institution. A number of delegations from foreign universities visit the department to share their knowledge and benefit the students. A few Memorandum(s) of Understanding (MOU) have been signed between the department and corresponding departments of the foreign universities. Law teaching has to be socially relevant, technically advanced and needs to concentrate on newer remunerative branches such as IPRs, insurance, negotiations, information technology and laws relating to wealth generation, finances including taxation shall be touchstone of future. The faculties in the department have been pioneers in developing new fields of law like Intellectual Property, Environmental law, Human Rights education, Gender sensitivity; uplifting women and poverty alleviation for the whole country. The faculties have successfully contributed by way of legislative interventions impacting the lives in fighting dowry deaths, introducing accountability of media in helping establishment of Prasar Bharati Corporation, promoting secularism, ushering rule of law for benefit of females and children and fighting against feudalism and oligarchies. It is desired to rise against female foeticide. The senior faculty members have a longstanding tradition of contributing prestigious books and literature in their fields of specialization which elevates the stature of Delhi Law Faculty as a tall academic leader contributing to the spread of legal knowledge throughout the country by training the trainers. We believe that learning does not end in the class rooms; windows have to be kept wide open to invite different perspectives and expertise from diverse sources and practitioners. National and International Seminars, Conferences and Workshops are organized regularly at the department level and in three Centres to share and deliberate upon legal issues and new ideas. Moot Court competitions, debates, group discussions, client counseling competitions are regular features in the three Centres of the Department. Our aim is to equip students to participate in providing good governance in democratic tradition and outshine the competition in all aspects of life. We consciously cater to the large masses and deprived sections through our 7000 students. I am confident that about 30% of our students outclass the best in comparison to students at high per capita expenditure national law schools with just about one tenth of budget allocations and fee. Our strength lies in the tradition of committed teaching and keenness of our students. The teachers at this department are accessible to discuss course material, legal issues and career goals etc.

Ques. Which is better UIT RGPV or IET DAVV?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 18 Oct 21

Ans. Both UIT RGPV and IET DAVV are very good colleges and are much popular among the students and in the industry, but IET DAVV is preferred in terms of campus infrastructure, placements, and co-curricular activities.  Here are some of the advantages of IET DAVV. A lot of social welfare clubs, technician groups, startups, and many other clubs are available. You can join any of them according to your interests, as it might open many avenues. The faculty at IET DAVV are highly experienced and are lenient.  Not much of a fuss is created with attendance, so you will not be forced to attend all the classes.  The college is situated in the middle of the city. Transportation, availability of basic necessities are nearby and coaching classes are there. IET DAVV will be a much better college as it offers very good faculty and facilities to its students and you should definitely consider this college as one of your options. Read more

Ques. What is better, CSE at UIT RGPV or IT at IET DAVV?

● Top Answer By Monika on 21 Aug 21

Ans. Both CSE and IT follows the same curriculum till 3rd year of college. You will only find a few different subjects in your final year. IT on a broad scale deals with the networking and security part. On the other hand, CSE is all about the development of software, applications, and programming. However, it is suggested that you opt for IT at IET Lucknow instead of UIT (RGPV) CSE if you are concerned about the placement scenario. It is so because IET has better placement offers. Not only this but the overall structure and curriculum of IT are extremely good. Being an autonomous institution, IET Lucknow offers more benefits than the other institutions. The average package offered to the CSE students at IET is around INR 4.5 Lakhs per annum as per the placement report of the institute in the year.Read more

Ques. Which university is better, UIT RGPV or IET DAVV?

● Top Answer By Vidya Bhatt on 29 Jul 21

Ans. UIT RGPV and IET DAVV are government institutes and situated in Madhya Pradesh. Being a government institute both of them have less fees. The location of both the colleges is amazing and in a developed city. UIT RGPV is situated in Indore whereas IET- DAVV in Bhopal. Both of the cities are almost the same with some differences:- The cut-off for IET DAVV is higher than UIT due to its academic performance and wellness. Placement records and stats are also better in IET with a lot of exposure from the industries. Internships are again better at IET with high-end companies especially the core companies. UIT RGPV is said to have a better campus than IET and also has no attendance conditions required Counseling and doubt sessions are daily kept by professors at IET DAVV. IET DAVV is ranked the 2nd best Institute in Madhya Pradesh which is a bonus point. It has a better ROI. Categories UIT RGPV IET DAVV Course Fee 23,920 (1st year) 2.74 lakh Highest CTC 8-10 LPA 21 LPA Average CTC 5-6 LPA 11 LPA Recruiting Companies TCS, Bosch, ICICI Bank, HCL, etc. Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, etc. In case of different subject offers from the institutes choose the one where you are interested in. IET DAVV is better than UIT RGPV for several years. When given a choice between CSE and ECE then definitely go for CSE as it is more in demand.Read more
