Likes
- Our college is the best college for computer engineering and electronic and telecommunications engineering, after IITs and NITs.
- I dont know about stipends or experience as we havent done any internship yet. There are also student startups which provide opportunities for internships with great companies.
- From the 7th semester, companies start to visit the colleges. The campus is also very good and the placement is excellent.
- A very good opportunity is given to students with very easy parameters to avail them.
- Extra-curricular activities are awesome and the best part of IET. However, the labs are not so good, as some of the systems arent in working condition and arent maintained like other government colleges.
- The hostel is the best part of IET DAVV. Keeping hostel infrastructure and facilities aside, the hostel is a place where we groom ourselves and learn many things.
- The college is very good at placements. The faculty is also very good. The admission process is through the counseling of MP date.
Dislike
- Talking about labs and all, they are not up to par. The devices are outdated, with no latest materials. Actually, its the worst part of college.
- The food in the mess is so poor, and the rooms in the hostel are also in very bad condition.
- Labs are quite good, and devices are in working condition as they are used by students of IIT Indore.

Placement Experience:
The placements in the college are decent if you have that many skills and potential, not only on campus but students have offers on campus. The highest off-campus offered is 57 lpa and the highest on-campus placement offered is 29 LPA. So the placements are good in branches like computer engineering, information technology, and electronics department.
Remarks:
The admission is based on the JEE MAINS rank. The cut-off is based on the courses you want. Suppose for computer engineering BE the cut-off is 40000 AIR rank in jee mains for general and OBC and the similar trend goes for other branches like for information technology the cut-off is 52000 and Electronic and telecommunication engineering 70000 and for electronics and instrumentation engineering 85000, approximately 120000 - 150000 for the mechanical and then civil engineering . The cut-off is quite high for an average Student to get computer engineering compared to other branches and other government colleges of a similar kind. These are the cutoffs of the 2nd round and for college-level counseling, the cut-off may vary. The college is good in reputation but not that much famous compared to sgsits because it is known for the university name Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Takshila campus. The admission process is smooth and you need only an hour for the process to finish.
Placement Experience:
In the seventh sem, you will eligible to get placement and there is a lot of company come in this college like principal global nuclesteq tcs Infosys Wipro and Accenture and Capgemini andostly 90 percentage student will get placement and the remaining student will prepare for another competitive exam like gate and cat and for higher studies. I was also placed in the electronic company but I will go to PsU
Remarks:
To taking admitted to this college we will have to clear jee main exam with a good rank then we will get a good branch like computer and science, Information technology and electronics and telecommunication and electronics and instrumentation branch and if you are from the general category then you will have to score under 50000 rank for getting cse and information technology and if you will get under 60000 you will also get electronic and instrumentation branch also. For the mechanical and civil branches, you will get under 150000 rank. It is the same for OBC only the 5000 to 6000 rank decreases but if you are from the sc and st categories you will get cs and its branches under the 150000 rank and for other branches, you will get under the 500000 rank. For the admission process, you will have to go to DTE MP counselling side where you will have to do registration then you will have to pay 2500 rs as registration fees and fill choice according to your mark versus college than merit list will come if you didn't get college in the first round
Placement Experience:
Placement offers are quite good. Different companies like TCS, Wipro, and info beans provide placements. Recently the highest off-campus package of 57 lahks was grabbed by a student and the on-campus package reached around 20 lahks.

Admission is solely based on jee mains examination, it's done through state counselling called MPDTE. There are reservation seats available statewide as well as caste-based. All details regarding the course and application process are available on its official website.

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 5th sem and companies starts visiting our college for internship. Tier 1 and 2 and 3 companies also come to our college 50-60 percent of students are placed in our college. The highest package is 60lpa and the average is 7.5 and side profiles are offered in our college and many other profiles are also offered.
Remarks:
The Admission process was quota hectic as we have to go through MP DTE counseling this counseling commenced before jossa. We have to fill out the mp DTE application form on the basis of our jee mains rank. I got into the Iet davv IT branch at the rank of 47893 crl the cutoff for the IT branch was 55k.
Placement Experience:
The campus placements are pretty good. The placements start from your 7th semester. The number of offers made in 2022 was 150+ and still increasing. The number of companies visiting the campus was around 30. The highest package for the year 2022 was more than 50lpa and the average was around 10lpa. The placement in the IT sector is almost 100%
Remarks:
For admission you've to give jee mains exam. The application form can be filled on mpdte website. After the regular rounds there is a college level counseling for admission in which you've to be present at the college campus on the told dates with required documents. The application form fees is around 1500. As IET DAVV is a state government college so there's 85% reservation for Madhya Pradesh state students.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am choosing btech civil engineering course because of government jobs. The faculty is good and also comes visiting faculty in this college. Every year about 7k to 8k students taking admitted to this college. In this college 3 mst are conducted monthly for 20 marks you pass easily

Taking admission to this college firstly you clear JEE mains exams conducted by NTA ( national test agency ) after that your ranks decided which branch for giving you after that you go to the official website of dte mp counselling
