Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science & Commerce is founded by Late Dr Rafiq Zakaria. The college is located at the sprawling Maulana Azad Education Society’s campus in Aurangabad. The College received  a status of 2(f) & 12(b) from University Grants Commission, New Delhi and it is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified institution. The college offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in various fields of Science, Arts and Commerce.

Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science & Commerce is the first institution on the campus which was started in June 1963. The College is situated in the large and beautiful campus with its mughal architecture and beautifully laid gardens. Today there are two separate campuses running seventeen educational institutions.
