What students say about University Institute of Technology, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya - [UIT- RGPV]

Likes

  • I opted for this course because of the increase in demand and the boom in its sector. Also, I have a keen interest in web development, so I thought pursuing my dreams, this would be the best choice.
  • The training was wonderful and helped me to achieve a lot of field knowledge and experience.
  • Very good reputed companies like Wipro, Sigma, Cognizant, TCS, and the Army come to the college for selecting students.
  • The fee hike policy and cost of study are good at the college. The name of the scholarship is for OBC, which is a post-matric scholarship given by the MP govt.
  • There are not a lot of clubs, but some of them are very good and nicely managed.
  • The hostel of my college is comparable to around a 2-star hotel. The rooms are well furnished and the food is also tasty, prepared hygienically. So, no student is going to leave the hostel. The water facilities are very good, with 4-5 water coolers on each floor.
  • Because I obtained admission to this college through counseling and it is a government college with a good reputation.

Dislike

  • The curriculum of my college is very poor; the faculty is poor and pathetic. The support of the college for any type of extracurricular activities is zero. I am a Formula Student, so I hardly get any funding from the college.
  • The placement scenario is poor, with limited companies coming to the campus, and those too are focused on CS/IT.
  • The loan facility is not available because my college fees are very low, but if students do not provide fees, then scholarships are given on the basis of parents income.
  • The condition of labs is poor, and it is difficult to work on the computers.
  • In one room, two people are assigned, and the washroom is always very dirty. The water facility is also the worst, and there are 200 or more rooms in the hostel.
  • The negative aspect is that college time is not good for day scholars if you live 20km away. Then you will cry as you spend 45 minutes on the bus both in the morning and evening.
