Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Science, Kadapa, shortly referred to as AITS, was established in 2010 by the Annamacharya Educational Trust. Admission to all the courses are made on the basis of the respective entrance examination. The entrance examination is conducted by the State of Andhra Pradesh. The exam to be given for B.Tech courses in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, And Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), while for the M.Tech courses, the scores in the Andhra Pradesh Post-graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) will be considered. Admissions are strictly based on the merit achieved in these examinations. The steps to apply are as mentioned below. 

AP EAMCET: How to apply?

  • Step 1: Pay the registration fee to access the application form. A transaction ID will be sent to the applicant’s phone.
  • Step 2: Enter Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket No., Mobile No., DOB and select the stream. Click ‘Check Payment Status’ and check your timeline of application fee payment. Only once your payment is successful can you continue your application. 
  • Step 3: Enter all the required information. 
  • Step 4: Upload the required documents as necessary. 
  • Step 5: Submit the application form. Also save a copy and print one hard copy. 

AP PGECET: How to apply?

  • Step 1: Pay the registration fee to access the application form. A transaction ID will be sent to the applicant’s phone. 
  • Step 2: Register yourself using the payment reference ID and the other required details. 
  • Step 3: Fill in your personal details, qualifying exam details, and Aadhaar Card details. 
  • Step 4: Choose the preferred exam centre and upload the required documents. 
  • Step 5: Submit the form. 
  • Step 6: Save and print a copy of the form.

The services are completely computerized with an internet facility. The Institute has also subscribed to e-journals like DELNET, digital Library and J-Gate: Engineering & Technology. 
  • Transportation: The college has a fleet of 5 buses that pick up and drop at almost 50 places around the college.

Ques. Can a diploma holder apply for M.Tech?

Ans. Yes, The Convener of the Engineering Common Entrance Test admits 10% of the candidates from the stream of Diploma. However, the applicants should possess a diploma from the Andhra Pradesh State Government or an equivalent examination.

Ques. What is the sanctioned intake of students in the B.Tech programs?

Ans. The Civil Engineering course, Mechanical Engineering course, Electronics & Communication Engineering course, and the Computer Science and Engineering course each have an intake of 120 students. The Electricals and Electronics Engineering course has an intake of 60 students. 

Ques. What is the sanctioned intake of students for the M.Tech courses?

Ans. Each of the M.Tech courses has an intake of 24 students except the CSE course which has an intake of 18 students.
