Placement Experience:

The campus placements will start from the 7th semester from the month of October till December. Many service-based companies and a few product-based companies visit the college. This year a total of 960 offers were made. Highest package being-28Lpa, Average package of-6lpa.

Good college

Placement Experience:

Many students will get after 3rd year only offer letters from various companies like Amazon, Google, Flipkart, etc. in my cse department last year was 95 percent of campus placements. A person with an above 8 cgpa they will get into good companies during placements.

Internships Opportunities:

They will provide various internship opportunities from hills, etc. they will conduct a hackathon weekly once, and they also recommend doing courses in nptel. our teachers told us to do course nptel for building good resumes.

Yeah our seniors had said that so many popular companies visit dsce to recruit students and they also provide some internship work in there company itself there and approximately 95 per cent of students get placement every year

Placement Experience:

The placements are good. On average, more than 100 companies visit the college out of which the maximum package is around 40 lpa, the average being 6 LPA and the median being 9 LPA. Moreover, the placements are 100%.

Internships Opportunities:

For every year one internship is compulsory that can be done outside also or under the guidance of the teachers within the department can be done and proper evaluation is done so that students take it seriously. There is no restriction for the subject of interest.

Good internship

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college average package are 7 lacs and the highest package is 40lakh if you study well then you will get a good package. I want to take an off-campus placement so that I get to explore many new things and skills from others. There are so many companies that visited like Microsoft, Adobe, and Amazon. Almost 90% of students get placed every year. My plans after getting the degree are to get a good job and to do further study.

Internships Opportunities:

Amazing internships are offered by the college. Companies like Infosys, and TCS hire at a good 10k worth of stipend. The placement cell actively works to get the best for students. Even part-time jobs are available for the 3rd year.

From 6th students are eligible for placement. There are large no. of companies are visiting our college. Like Texas, Amazon, Bosch, ACM, Paytm, Accenture, etc. Highest placement: 40 lac/ year Average placement: 6-7 lac/ year About 90% of students have been placed in college in-campus placement.

Internships Opportunities:

Not so many companies are visited for internships. Since the implementation of the New Education Policy completing an Internship in every alternative semester is compulsory. But college not helping much with internships.

For software jobs, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is very good in terms of Placement. Here are some of the observations about the college placements. Software companies like, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Wipro are major recruiters of this college. One needs to maintain 60 % in his/her overall academics. Infosys usually comes in the first slot of the placement drive of the college. If you want to get into the core technical job then you might not get that in college but this is true in the case of other colleges as well. If your branch of engineering is electrical, mechanical, and biomedical then you should definitely participate in the campus pool drive of the college. One of my friends recently graduated from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE). Here is what she had to say about the CSE placement at the institute. The institute is autonomous, and the quality of education, assignments, and projects has been improved over the years. The placements for the CSE branch are promising. All the companies allow CSE students to sit for campus placement. Recently, JP Morgan came to the campus in the sixth semester and offered packages of around INR 6 LPA. Therefore, placement would not be a problem. All the students across all branches get placed in at least one company. Most students get placed in Accenture, Infosys, HPE, Continental Automotive, Moog, EY, UHG, Dell, JP Morgan, Oracle, Tally, Cognizant, and more. All of these have recruited CSE students in the past. My friends studying there said that around 10 companies pay a visit to the campus every individual month for as long as 6 months in a row. One of my friends is a student at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering and here is her insight into the placements for EEE and EIE. Both departments have a distinct curriculum and hence different companies recruit from these branches. As EEE is the core field, it is difficult to get the cutoff for few companies such as Accenture, mu-sigma, HP, etc. The number of core companies visiting the campus for placement is quite less in number. Whereas EIE doesn't have single-core companies visiting while there are a lot of open options to sit in for mass recruiting companies. The average package offered stays around 3-4 LPA. Although, the recent change in curriculum due to the university's switch from VTU to autonomous, has seen an increase in the companies visiting the campus and will soon fetch better margins on placements....Read more

According to one of my seniors, if the parameters of placement and college life are considered then the ranking would be as follows: - Dayanand Sagar College> B.I.T> BMSIT and RNSIT My senior is a student of B.I.T and he has also been to Dayanand Sagar College a couple of times for some cultural events. According to him Dayanand Sagar College has a much better campus among the others mentioned above. It is an autonomous college so it has its own perks. Located in Bangalore it gets the advantage of being nearby corporate houses and IT firms. It will be easier to conduct frequent industry visits, seminars, and internship opportunities. The places nearby have hostels and PGs available for both boys and girls. There are also numerous flats available. B.I.T is located in V.V Puram and lacks all these facilities. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is a part of Dayanand Sagar University campus. DSCE is an autonomous institution and is affiliated with VTU. Dayanand Sagar Institutions as a whole are well-known for their quality of education. You don’t need to worry about placements, because placement drive happens under one roof, i.e. DSI. If you are skilled and maintain a good percentile throughout your degree, you can get decent placement opportunities. The average package offered during the recent placement drive at DSU is 6 LPA.
