Admission:

Eligibility of the course is you must have passed your's 12th with at least 60%. For admission into BTech courses, you must have appeared in JEE MAINS and for CSE your JEE percentile should be above 85. And students have to apply on the MPDTE website for counselling. There are various reservations and scholarships available.

GOOD FOR ONE WHOM WANT TO GO FOR DEGREE IN BEST FEE STUCTURE AND BEST PLACEMENTS

Admission:

my admission for lnct was from jee examination and after i get this college after counselling for mpdte and i got selected in 1st upgrade round in lnct. you must be sure to get minimum 90 percentile(general category) to go for this institute and to pursue the degree of B.tech from CSE. There will be benefit if you are the localite of Madhya Pradesh and you will also get a benifit if you belongs to SC/ST category. The admission process for this college is much simpler if you are in between of 70-90 percentile in jee exam then you can get this college easy manner

Admission:

I took admission through jee main entrance exam. The cutoff percentile for the computer science and engineering branch is approx 90. The admission process is very easy just do mpdte counseling to get admission here.

After giving JEE, I got admission through MPDTE Counselling. The cut-offs were quite defendable. I filled out the choice filling form according to my priorities of colleges and interested courses and then through counseling, I got the allotment letter for the college.

One of my friends graduated from LNCT Bhopal and here are some important things that you need to know, before making any decision. It is not a great deal to get admission in LNCT. You just have to choose a particular branch you are interested in. In LNCT Main, most of the students want to get admission to CSE. Otherwise, they go for ECE or Mechanical branches. If you have JEE mains AIR between 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh (Branch specific) and 85% or above in board exams. Then you can take admission very easily. The Home State quota is also very profitable. Just select the branch during state counseling very carefully. If your residence is Madhya Pradesh and your family income is less than 5 lakh annually. Then get a residential certificate and an income certificate from the respective department (Tehsil) and during choice filling for state board counseling form, select the TFW column (Tuition Fees Waiver) and enter the registration numbers. After this choose that branch first which has ‘TFW’ in its name. Students from other states cannot get admission through the TFW quota. If you get admission through the TFW quota, your fees will be around 10000 to 12000 rupees per year. Otherwise, you have to pay 1.2 lakh or more for a year. Lastly, If you can’t get admission in any round of counseling. Just meet with the management of the college directly and you can opt for a management quota to get admission there. ...Read more

But he can get other branches such as Chemical, IT, Production, EE, etc. He can also try for the other two colleges under LNCT group, i.e. LNCTS, and LNCTE. Yes, with a 29,098 rank in the JEE Main 2021, a student can very easily take admission in LNCT main campus Bhopal. But why LNCT, you ask. Because 29,098 is a decent rank through which any student can get a better college than LNCT. LNCT can be the last option because it opens admission to almost all the students even with the rank of 1,40,00. According to the placement statistics of the year 2020, it offers packages of around 3-5 lakhs per annum. Therefore, think wisely before choosing LNCT and opt for any other colleges better than LNCT. This decent rank is not supposed to get an admission in the LNCT. From the past few experiences, it has been seen that the JEE Mains score matters immensely for your admission, if you are from a general category then your score should be mandatorily more than 80, and if you are from scheduled caste or scheduled tribes then 20-30 marks will also work. Ques. Can I get into CSE in LNCT Bhopal with a rank of 118,000 in the Mains?

While a clear-cut answer to this question isn’t possible, here are some insights regarding ranks and admissions according to my friends who are currently studying there. One of my friends is a final year student from LNCT pursuing B.Tech in IT. He secured a rank of 1,27,000 in 2017 but he wasn’t able to secure a seat in CSE Branch with that rank. Instead, he took a seat in IT in the 1st round itself. Yes, he didn’t wait for the 2nd or 3rd round. However, you can wait for at least the 3rd round to see if your chances increase for the CSE branch. Secondly, it also depends on your quota. Most of the time it is quite impossible to secure a seat with such a rank without any quota. My friend who belonged to the unreserved category couldn’t get in even EC with a rank of 69,000. In recent years the required cutoff for CSE at LNCT Bhopal was 83761. At last, if you are looking forward to a bright future in CSE or IT, establish your skills in programming on your own. Wait for a bit for the later rounds of counseling, then you can for sure secure a seat in the department of CSE. However, if you wish to acquire admission during the first round of counseling then you would surely be offered IT and not CSE. This happened to one of my friends. He waited for a few rounds and was able to secure admission later. I would advise you to opt for CSE and IT as your preferences in the first and second rounds of counseling when you are required to fill out your choices for the admission procedure. It is suggested you select CSE in the first place and IT in the second place during filling your choice, and you should do this in the second round too. Yes, he can get electrical engineering in LNCT Bhopal with 65 in JEE Mains 2021, because the obtained marks are enough to get into the Institute without any third party involvement or through direct admission. It's sufficient that any student can get admission through the normal MP counseling process. In direct admission or involving any third party, the Institute charges more fees than required. The worst would be not getting admission in the first round, if this happens, apply for the second round, even though he will get admission in the first round with these decent scores. Although the board percentage also doesn't matter, if he has 65-70% marks in boards then also he will get admission to the LNCT Bhopal. It's not a big deal. Apart from that, he can also opt or search for another college like MEDICaps Indore and Oriental Bhopal, etc. as they are very decent colleges and have good placements and infrastructure....Read more
