The learnings are very good, as all staff give their 100 percent to groom the students.
The companies that offer placements in our college include top companies like Amazon. There are a total of around 54 companies where we can go for campus interviews.
I got placed in Wipro with a package of 3.15 per year. I am going to join by November and I am feeling awesome studying in my college.
The fee structure was impressive, and we all had a good time while on campus.
We have an excellent library in our college, filled with a good amount of books and journals. Our college conducts some fests during the month of January. We also have a Toastmasters club, a robotics club, etc. They also organize hackathons.
The food given here is among the best in colleges all over Tamil Nadu.
It is a very good college with respectful college staff and good hostel food, a pleasant environment. I love to prefer the college bus because I am nearby to the college.

Dislike

In the mechanical department, the placement is the worst (only MRF came in off-campus, nobody got selected). However, placements in other departments are good.
Only Tamilnadu students will receive scholarships and financial assistance from their state government. Students from other states, however, will need to join through the management quota.
There are no extracurricular activities except cricket and volleyball. These two are the major games. There is no experienced physical training teacher to teach you the game. There are some clubs like Toastmasters, which are all about English.
Cellphones are not allowed on the campus, which is the main restriction, even in the hostel they are not permitted.

My experience at PIT

Placement Experience:

Regarding placements, top companies will come to our college, and don't need to worry about placements they'll definitely place you. Placements start from the 6th semester ending itself and also package will be good. Some of the companies like Zoho, cognizant, TCS, etc.

Remarks:

I applied via counseling so considering the cutoff and quota by anna University I have been joining this college. All the details about the application and fees have been mentioned on their website. For management quota, it's an entirely different fee structure. No exam or GD will be there at the time of joining they'll verify your documents.
