Established in the year 1969, Mathabhanga college is a primeval and promising education institute, situated in the quaint town of mathabhanga, in the district of Cooch Behar in West Bengal. Spanning over 10.78 acres of land, the college consists of two buildings, with an in-campus playground and boys hostel.

  • Library: Mathabhanga college houses a central library which has approximately 19,000 books for the students and staff of the college. Additionally, the library also provides news papers, periodicals, journals, CDs/ DVDs and an open access system at the disposal of the students. The library also has the facility of a book bank for the economically weak and the SC/ST/OBC students. 
  • Hostel: Mathabhanga college provides hostel accommodation for boys in it’s campus. The hostel can accommodate 25 students. For the girl students, hostel accommodation is provided at the Girls' Hostel of the Mathabhanga Girls' High School and Babu Jagjivan Ram Girls' Hostel in Mathabhanga.
  • Students' Health Home: Students’ health home is an organization that is managed by the governing body of Cooch behar. Its objective is to provide medical treatment to the students free of cost. Mathabhanga College is a member of Coochbehar District Regional Students' Health Home. At the time of admissions, the College collects Rs. 10/- from each student as a token amount, and they can avail the medical facilities later.
