My opinion on the course curriculum, academics, and faculties is that they are really very good.
Delhi University is known for its placements, and students who graduate from the college are provided with good placement opportunities.
That was very good in the placement process, but I do not know about the package which they provide and the companies.
I applied for it and received a scholarship of 4000 per month for 3 years, which was very beneficial for me.
Being the countrys number one college, Miranda has the best crowd, which is a mixture of beauty and brains.
You can Google it on the Miranda House website. We have one of the best hostels in the Delhi University campus with beautiful infrastructure and facilities. There are 2-seater and 3-seater rooms available.
The college has a wealth of facilities to bring out the best from inside a student.

Dislike

Its not updated at all. I guess they have been teaching the same syllabus since the foundation of the college. The faculties are too conventional and sometimes boring, and they strictly adhere to rules.
Although the students of the science stream held constant internships as part of their summer training.
Loans are not actually required because the fees are very low. Even if you cannot afford 10,000, there are scholarship options available for extremely poor students.
I dont know about the mess food or hostel facilities because we were not allowed to go into the hostel rooms or the mess

Miranda House- The Dream of the Dreamers

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year, students often start looking for placements. For my course, the placement ranges from 5lac to 7lac. However for economics Hons., it may go above 16 lac. The companies who visited the college this year are- Zee Media, EdLighten, NTT Data, etc.

Remarks:

My admission was based on the percentage format. I applied for Sociology Hons. in the year 2021 and got admission to the Second Special Cut-off list. After that year, CUCET has been applied and the entire exam process has been revised totally.

Miranda House , Empowerment in itself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of Political Science is best here in Miranda House. The classes are generally divided into sections to maintain good faculty: student ratio. This course provides you with a holistic understanding of political science and its sub-discipline. DU is the only university in India providing International Relations at the undergraduate level. This course would make one able to pursue a future in Civil services, academia, and other fields that require a better understanding of Polity. The faculty in miranda house doesn't take teaching lightly. Faculty is rich in knowledge, the best of DU, and dedicated. They provide the best services and expect the same from students. There are a total of 6 semesters in this course which makes for 6-semester exams the interval of 5 months and assignments and term papers in between the semester for mid-semester assessment.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 12500 per year

Remarks:

Since 2022, there is CUET as the only option to get admission to the college. Earlier it was based on the percentage obtained in your class 12th. A situation that is still the same is that one has to get top marks in the cuet to get admission in Miranda House, as it is India's rank 1. One needs to follow the notification of CUET for admission-related notice. There are reservation criteria, providing relaxation for some numbers.
