The fee structure for Sociology Hons. is good. It's only 14160 for the first year, then 12330 for the second year. So, the average fee is quite less. The placement cell does its level best to cater to every student with some sort of placement. Scholarships here are frequent but mostly of minimal value. Financial assistance depends upon one's department.
The fees are quite reasonable, especially for my course and we get all the lab facilities and classes are well equipped with projectors and fans. Even we get scholarships both merit-based and finance based so overall we get a lot of financial help in our college.
Colleges provide scholarships based on economic conditions and academic performance. The fee for the course is very reasonable and the cost of the study is economical. Seminars and workshops are organized frequently, providing an abundance of opportunities for internships and Jobs. There are numerous societies functioning in the college, like Placement Cell, Enactus, and NSS.
Fees structure is basically tution fees + expenses of lab + other academic expense+ the university examination fee which is to be paid before every semester's exams. one thing I liked about being in this college is that the various societies & WhatsApp groups made just for internships I even did one to experience & trust me it was worth it! if you want scholarships, then you would have many options .you just have to be aware of them.
There is a recent fee hike, and an increase in the cost to study. But I don't think it'll be a hurdle for people because students are provided with financial support and scholarships. DU and Miranda House provide several scholarship opportunities for students from EWS.
Faculty fee is too low according to facilities. This time I don't get any scholarship or job on campus because I don't participate in these things. Otherwise, colleges have provided a lot of opportunities. The fee for my college is around 12330 per annum.

Since 2022, there is CUET as the only option to get admission to the college. Earlier it was based on the percentage obtained in your class 12th. A situation that is still the same is that one has to get top marks in the cuet to get admission in Miranda House, as it is India's rank 1. One needs to follow the notification of CUET for admission-related notice. There are reservation criteria, providing relaxation for some numbers.
NKBy - Neha KumariMy admission was based on the percentage format. I applied for Sociology Hons. in the year 2021 and got admission to the Second Special Cut-off list. After that year, CUCET has been applied and the entire exam process has been revised totally.
PKBy - Pushpanjali KumariAt my time the admissions were completely merit based on the basis of 12th marks but now CUET is being introduced in Delhi University for admissions. The forms are available at nta site. CUET helps u not only to take admissions in DU but also in several other national and state university
