What students say about PGDAV College (Evening)

Likes

  • Now, talking about the faculties, they are just awesome. We have three sections divided in each course, and there are about seven subjects.
  • Many companies and NGOs came to our college to provide students with good jobs and internships for a brighter life.
  • Placement and job opportunities are not so good. Students have to prepare themselves and get into the market to obtain jobs according to their eligibility.
  • Medium fee structure Good service for studying Separate library for the evening college No fee hike in 3 years The easy and smooth fee submission process Provides ample time to submit fee Great ground for playing sports Nice staff and faculty
  • Our college has the best labs and the best sports college for competing in the whole university.
  • I am not a part of the hostel, but our colleague used to stay in the hostel and they are quite happy with the hospitality of the hostel.
  • The college is very good in terms of environment, with a great faculty and a very good managerial staff.

Dislike

  • I didnt even sit in the Delhi University placement cell as there were only college students.
  • In my time, there is no fee hike. The scholarship is given to a limited number of students who have the required documents upon the interview.
  • The college does not organize activities, and there is no active society in the evening college, except NCC. No society is active or worth joining in PGAV Evening College.
  • Non-Delhiite or out-of-town students suffer from staying in PGs and taking flats on rent, as it is very expensive for them and not even safe.
  • Its infrastructure used to be pathetic, but I would like to say that renovation work is in progress, and it will be transformed into a premium college in Delhi.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement cell of PGDAV college organises all the palcement -related activities. These procedures mainly include pre- placement talks , internships . The PGDAV average placement packages was recorded at INR 4.67 LPA as per the college placement brochure .

Remarks:

The admission process was quite good and easy beacuse at our time we don't have to give the entrance exam for taking admission in DU. So we got admission on our percentage basis and it was easy and smooth process the Delhi University team and support staff will help you in all your queries.

Placement Experience:

last year the eligibility for placements, companies like - amazon, Infosys, Wipro etc come for placements but the placements are not at all good in this college. Placements are highly favourable for bcom, bcom hons, and eco hons. Other than these, there is nothing called placement in pgdav evening.

Remarks:

It was merit-based admission, the cutoff list was released for admission into DU colleges and according to that, all the admissions into the colleges for different courses took place. Now, CUET is there for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of the college is very friendly and sweet. The teachers are really helpful and motivating. The teaching methods are very efficient and lovely. Also, the various departments give a lot of exposure and experience.

Remarks:

I was admitted through cuet exam. I gave the exam and filled the preference list and accordingly was allotted the college. It was easy to access though very tough to keep up with as it was a very lengthy process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because my future plan is to pursue MBA. The teaching staff is very helpful and educated. The student ratio is nearly 2:1 i.e. 2 boys for one girl. The teaching method varies from teacher to teacher but if anyone has any problem regarding this then he/she can write an application to change his/ her section or teacher.

Remarks:

Absolutely not, the admission process is very simple and easy for everyone. All the details regarding the admission process are mentioned before proceeding to the registration web page. Students can withdraw and transfer their admission very easily

Remarks:

First of all, you need the CUET entrance exam for admission and eligibility is you need commerce in the 10+2 exam you can find the application date and fees on du website no need to do any improvement in it ...I didn't get any benefits because I'm from general background and I don't have any sports certificate and I did not join any NCC camps so I didn't get any benefits

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in political science because it enables me to explore and evolve my knowledge in the field of political science and helps in my preparation for the UPSC exam. Faculty is well qualified at du and our college professors have their educational background from JLU (Jawaharlal lal Nehru University). Student to teacher ratio is good everyone is taken into consideration.

Remarks:

Any person who has passed is eligible for the degree from Delhi University. The application process is specified on the official site of Delhi University, reservation on the seat basis is given based on different caste and economic conditions. In recent times Delhi University has opted for a new pattern of the CUCET Exam.
