What students say about Presidency College

Likes

  • The course structure is very good. Everything is in a systematic way. The teachers here are also good; they know their subjects and try their best to teach us. As for the exams criteria, after every unit, we have tests.
  • Microsoft is best known for its line of software products, including its Operating Systems, MS Office Suite, and Internet Explorer.
  • Yeah, in our college, placements are very good. Many companies will come to give jobs to talented students. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, and many others. Yeah, our college also provides internships to students. Stipend is also given to students, like 5000.
  • They do provide scholarships to students who have good performance in the entrance as well as undergraduate studies.
  • I joined MBA at Presidency after completing my Engineering. I can honestly say that I had a better campus life at Presidency than at BITIT College for Engineering.
  • The hostel facilities are awesome. The college provides separate hostels for both boys and girls. The food offered is very good. The college has a canteen that provides both North Indian and South Indian food.
  • Presidency was a good college to obtain the best MBA degree in Bangalore. I had beautiful and useful memories there.

Dislike

  • Most of the time, they used to send us to walk-ins at other venues in the name of placements.
  • As it was a private college, there were no scholarships available. However, they did offer student loans from the bank if any parents were unable to pay their wards fees.
  • There is no campus life because there is no campus; its just one building with a parking area around it.
  • I applied only to this college because it was nearby, and I wanted to pursue CA on the side.

Placement Experience:

The placement in our college is on the average side around 75% students are placed, with a average package of 6 lakhs to 7 lakhs. The company start visiting our campus from the 5th semester. Few top recruiters are amazon, hdfc The highest package offered is 14 lakhs till now. The profile offered by the companies are audit department and HR and marketing After my degree I'll be taking up HR

Remarks:

The admission process is based on 12th percentage ( 80%). If you are eligible them interview will be taken by the college. The application is available on college website. The college provides reservation benefits. After filling the form there is no update given we have to call again and again to know the status.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college is quite strict in terms of conducting examinations we have weekly test, mid term and final. And all the tests are moderate if you will study even 3-4 hours you can pass the test but it all depends on student.

Remarks:

I don't think there is a need for improvement in the admission process our college select students based on the puc/boards marks and also students with extremely good marks get selected easily for the admission.
