BBK DAV College for Women is one of the prestigious all-women colleges in Punjab. Before applying for admission into this illustrious college, candidates must first update themselves with the entire admission procedure. The college offers not only UG and PG courses but programs like Diplomas, Vocational Subjects at B.A. level and Add-On courses as well. While most courses offered by the college are of three years (undergraduate) or 2 years (post graduate), there are also four-year degree courses.
The admission process for BBK DAV College is simple and common for all the courses, barring the ones that may require the candidates to clear certain entrance examinations. There are few things the candidate must keep in mind while preparing for the admissions:
- Admission is based on FIRST COME FIRST SERVE CUM MERIT basis.
- Every semester the student will have to renew their admission. Upon late arrival, the candidate will lose their claim to the seat.
- Students from outside Punjab will have to submit an Eligibility Certificate issued by the Guru Nanak Dev University to be eligible for admissions.

BBK DAV College UG Admission 2023
BBK DAV offers a wide variety of UG courses for its women students, which also include few B.A. Vocational programs. The admission to these colleges requires the students to be at least 10+2 pass with the specified minimum marks. If eligible, then the admission is provided on the basis of first come first serve cum merit criteria.
The candidates need to submit their application form that one may find along with the college prospectus, on time to be considered for admission. So, it is advisable that the candidates keep an eye out for the notification announcing the admission process.

BBK DAV College BD, BM and BFA Admission 2023
Along with its three year Degree programs, BBK DAV College also offers four-year degree programs. These are offered mainly in the Design, Multimedia, and Fine Arts streams. To be eligible for these programs, the candidate must pass 10+2 with a minimum of 40% - 45% marks depending upon the course.
Just like its UG courses, the admission is based on the first come first serve cum merit criteria. Eligible students will have to attend an admission interview, following which they will have to submit the required documents and pay the fees.

BBK DAV College PG Admission 2023
Much like its other courses, the BBK DAV PG admissions is quite simple. Even though the college offers a multitude of post graduate courses, the most basic requirement for admission to these programs is to be a graduate and have a Masters Degree in the concerned subject with the minimum marks. Some programs may require some additional requirements.
Candidates selected on the first come first serve cum merit basis will have to face an interview conducted by the admission board. If approved by the board, the applicants must follow the required formalities to secure their claim to admission.

BBK DAV College Vocational Diploma Program Admission 2023
Other than the undergraduate and postgraduate courses, BBK DAV College also offers Vocational and Diploma courses whose duration usually pans around one year to two years. For admission into a Diploma/Vocational course, the candidates need only be a 10+2 graduate with a minimum of 40% marks to be considered eligible. Like all the other courses, the vocational and diploma programs also follow the same admission process. There will be a first come first serve cum merit basis and such selected students will attend the interview and follow all the other procedures required of them.

BBK DAV College Application Process
BBK DAV College has a common application procedure for almost all its courses. The candidate must purchase the Prospectus form and read it carefully. The prospectus covers every detail the student must know about the college and the courses they offer, as well as important information regarding the admission process.
- Fill in the form attached with the prospectus.
- Get the filled-in and signed form checked by the Subject Verification Board.
- Selected candidates may be called in for the interview by the admission board.
- Admitted students will have to pay the fees and submit the form along with relevant documents at the college.
The documents the students must provide at the time of admission include attached photocopies of Original Certificates, Mark Sheets, Character Conduct Certificate, SC/ST/OBC Certificate (if applicable), and Original Migration Certificate & Eligibility Certificate from GNDU for students from outside Punjab.
Candidates must keep in mind that the admission process is based on the FIRST COME FIRST SERVE criteria and as such, they cannot be tardy.
