What students say about SCD Government College

Likes

  • After completing my 12th with good marks in PCM, I wanted to continue in the same field and chose Bachelor of Science.
  • Many companies come to our college to hire students for their company.
  • Companies come to our college despite it being one of the best colleges in the city.
  • The scholarship is given to the students who are good in studies and their fees are free, and they enjoy this.
  • It is a co-ed college, and there is no favoritism or nepotism based on caste, creed, religion, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, politics, or economic status.
  • I have never stayed in a hostel, but according to the opinion of my colleagues who stayed there, it was good.
  • The college has to give internships to the students in the best industries and companies.

Dislike

  • My opinion is that the course curriculum is average. All the content is provided by the professor or teacher, so my course is average - not good, not bad. The expectations for my exams are strict. Everything, from exam conducting to perspectives, is strict.
  • Still, no companies come to my college because it is not a private college; it falls under the government sector. Therefore, there are no placement opportunities, making it unfavorable in this aspect.
  • The campus life is quite boring because the faculty does not take active participation. No interesting festivals, shows, or cultural fests are organized which makes the campus life boring and lethargic.
  • The management is a little bit bad. The lack of resources should be improved. Teachers are good employees. Other than teachers, the staff is very ill-mannered due to a lack of knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because am pretty confused about what I do in the future.I want to prepare govt exams so I choose the bachelor of Arts .thats means I want time to prepare for govt exams.2:1 of the class ratio. all teachers are very qualified and experienced. Exams are timely conducted there are no problems with exams.

Remarks:

Admission to this college is based on 12 class markings. which is on merit-based admission and counselling. there are also reservation systems followed. I want that counselling is will be online and the fees of courses to be displayed before the counselling.

Placement Experience:

Our college is not so good in terms of placement. Our college is not tied up with the MNC for the placements of the students. Mostly sales-related jobs are offered in the placements. The highest package offered by our college is approx 7 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA. According to my point of view, only 15 to 20 percent of students can get jobs.

Remarks:

The eligibility for the BBA course is candidate should be passed their 10+2 in any stream or equivalent examination from any recognized board or school. The application form, fees, and dates could be found on the college's official website. There are some reserved seats for category students students also. No there is no need for any improvement in the admission process everything is good.
