Shivaji College is a co-educational college affiliated with the University of Delhi. It offers 20 UG courses under different faculties of Science, Commerce and Humanities. The college also offers one self-financing course in Bachelor of Business Economics (BBE), three PG courses and one add-on Language course (German). Admission to UG courses is based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) followed by e-counselling. Candidates seeking admission to PG courses are required to appear for the CUET PG.
Established in 1961 by Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture Shri Panjabrao Deshmukh, Shivaji College focuses on promoting gender equality ideals and community service activities. The college has been accredited with Grade ‘A’ by NAAC and ranked 42 for Arts and 35 for Science by India Today 2022.
The faculty members and administrative staff are in a continuous strive to provide holistic support to the students through their guidance and experience. The faculty members are highly educated and experienced in their respective fields. Few of the senior faculty members even supervise DU registered Ph.D scholars.
Shivaji College which is spread across an extensive area of 10 acres of land is known for its herbal garden, lush green lawns and large playgrounds. The college campus has adopted various environment-friendly practices like, ban on plastic, ban on smoking, no vehicle entry and plantation of trees to lower carbon print on the campus. Shivaji College Admission Process 2023
Shivaji College admission process is completely online. Candidates seeking admission are required to apply online on the official website. Admission to UG courses is done on the basis of CUET scores followed by e-counseling. Candidates need to pass their 10th and 12th class with 40 percent marks in total to be eligible for UG courses provided. The program-specific eligibilities vary from course to course.
The marks obtained by the candidate in CUET will be considered for computing the total marks according to the Program-Specific combinations of subjects for deciding merit and granting admissions in the undergraduate programs. Merit will be based only on the ‘combination of subjects in which a candidate has appeared in CUET as mentioned in the respective Program-Specific Eligibility.
PG admissions are done through CUET PG. There total 75 programs for PG courses which is been provided by Delhi University. As per the DU admission policy, 50% of seats will be reserved for DU students, while admission to the 50% seats will be provided through CUET PG. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for PG courses through the CUET PG entrance exam.

Shivaji College Application Process
Candidates who wish to enroll for the UG courses at Shivaji College are required to apply for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The application process is mentioned below:
- Candidates must visit the official CUET website that is: @cuet.samarth.ac.in.
- Upon opening the website candidates will find the ‘Register’ tab, they must click on it.
