Ques. Which is better SRCC or Hansraj College?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 01 Oct 21

Ans. SRCC is definitely better than Hansraj College. I say this based on the reviews I got from my friends from both institutes.  SRCC is India's best commerce college. It has an exceptional teaching faculty. SRCC faculties are authors cum professors. Most of the books that you will refer to study are written by SRCC professors.  It also ranks first in undergraduate placements. In the 2020 placement drive, the highest CTC offered was 31 LPA and the average CTC offered was 8 LPA. Some of the major recruiters at the institute are BCG, Deloitte, Wipro, Google, etc.  Because SRCC is located in the north campus, the campus life and atmosphere are among the greatest that a student may find in India. Crossroads, the SRCC cultural festival, is the most well-known DU event. It's a great college. Given the choice between SRCC and Hansraj, you should go for the former. Read more

Ques. Which is better: H.B.Econ. from SRCC or IPM from IIM Indore?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 30 Aug 21

Ans. SRCC is an established and well-known institution affiliated with the University of Delhi. The institution has a pretty good faculty and the curriculum being taught there is also considered to be of high standards. If you are planning to prepare a solid CV for your career, I would suggest that you opt for a course of your interest at SRCC.  These are just some views I gathered by interacting with students of these institutes.  The curriculum followed at IPM has been mocked by several candidates because of its diversity. It does not include specific topics for a particular specialization.  However, for the batch of 2016-21, a new curriculum has been introduced by the authorities which is more focussed on areas like Economics, Quantitative aptitude, Philosophy, Psychology, and Sociology.  These areas are also considered to be the 5 pillars of management at the PGDM level by many individuals working in the field of business and management. The placement of the institution is also quite good with the average package approximately equal to the amount which usually gets offered to candidates studying at the Postgraduate level.  Categories Economics (Hons.) at SRCC IPM at IIM Indore Course Fee 45,000 26 lakh Course Duration 3 years 5 years Highest CTC 25 LPA 28 LPA Average CTC 8-10 LPA 15-18 LPA Recruiting Companies Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Amazon, etc. ICICI Bank, American Express, Mindtree, HCL, etc. My brother was eligible for admission at SRCC but instead, he opted for IPM because it was favoring his interests, environment, and several other factors. You can too make a decision based on your interests and several other factors which you think are important for your career.Read more

Ques. What is better, B.Com (H) from SRCC, BMS from Shaheed Sukhdev or IPM from IIM Indore?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 23 Aug 21

Ans. All of these are very good courses to pursue, but all of them are different from each other and have their own advantages. Let's have a look at all the courses. B.Com (Hons) from SRCC: This course is among the best for commerce and the alumni network of SRCC is very good. It will help the corporate industry and helps the students to secure a good job in a reputed company. The course curriculum of this college is of high standards and it will have a great impact on your personal growth and development. BMS from Shaheed Sukhdev: This is another popular course and is much better than many of the BBA courses. But it lacks behind other courses such as B.Com and IPM in terms of recognition and exposure in the industry.  IPM from IIM Indore: It is a newly introduced course and there is not any alumni base. This makes it uncertain for some companies to visit during placements. The placement opportunities and the industry exposure available in this course are still unknown. But IPM can be a very good option for personal development.  These are a small introduction for all the courses, and now you can choose one from any of them according to priorities and requirements. Read more

Ques. Where does Delhi School of economics stand in comparison to DFS, DBE, IIMs, SRCC GBO and Ambedkar University?

● Top Answer By Praver Katyal on 19 Jan 21

Ans. Delhi School of Economics is one of the best institutes in India, reputed for its MA (Economics), MBA (IB), and MBA (HRM). DSE has a brand value that helps you in the industry. Students of DSE are working in the top managerial posts in the corporate world. Other colleges DFS, DBE, IIM, SRCC GBO are known for the different flagship courses they offer. DSE: MBA is not the flagship program at the Delhi School of Economics. However, it has good faculty and nice placements.  In DSE for the batch of 2020 the highest package offered was 18 LPA and the average package offered was 10.57 LPA. DSE has distinguished alumni like Dr. Amartya Sen, Pranoy Roy (Founder & Executive Chairperson, NDTV), Prof. Kaushik Basu (Chief Economist).  DFS: DFS is known for its flagship offering MBA (Finance). The college boasts of experienced faculty and provides better placement opportunities for its students.  In DFS for the batch of 2020 the highest package offered was 21 LPA and the average package offered was 10.5 LPA. DBE: DBE is known for its specialized offering of MBA in Business Economics. The course is offered by experienced faculty and provides a good opportunity for the students.  In DBE for the batch of 2020 the highest package offered was 21.5 LPA and the average package offered was 10.5 LPA. IIMs: IIMs are the best in the country when it comes to management education in India. IIM A, B, C consistently feature in the top 100 colleges to do MBA in the world.  They have experienced faculty, world-class facilities, an internationally accepted curriculum, and a rich alumni base. They offer the best placement opportunities for the students and research facilities if they wish to continue so. SRCC: At SRCC, GBO is a specialized course offered by the institute.  SRCC has a huge reputation, brand value, and has highly experienced faculty.  In SRCC, GBO received the highest package of 18.81 LPA and the average package offered was 10.16 LPA for 2020.  Ambedkar University is a good college but cannot be compared with the colleges mentioned above.  The selection of the institute depends on your choice of specialization. If you are interested in Mathematics or Economics, then DSE will be the best choice. For an MBA in Finance, IIM C/I/A/B will be the best option. DFS is also good for Finance. For MBA Marketing, FMS/IIM-A/IIM-B is better. IIMs are also best for HR or IT. For fields like Tread, Research, International Marketing, or Sales DSE will be best.Read more

    Admission :

This was one of the most premium institution of the country. This college has a very rich heritage and part of history. The college houses few of the most reputed faculty in the DU circuit. College gives out a merit list based on the category. In case you satisfy the criteria then you are eligible to apply for the college.

    Remarks :

The college management was very transparent. Inspite of being a government college it was very proactive. They ensured involvement when things were not done properly.

I got in through my 12th marks which is the only criteria to get admission and admission process is pretty standard where they check all your documents are in order. We need to fill a common form of DU opting for a specific course and you will eligible. for everything college of DU to take admisison. And once the cut off releases you can select the college by making sure their cut off meets with your marks.
